The cabin was was great place tucked in the woods for two couples to stay the night. Would easily accomodate families with children as well. Clean, updated, well equipped and comfortable. We thoroughly enjoyed sitting at the firepit under the stars. Hosts were very responsive.

Overall the property was wonderful. The only thing I would Point out is it has a slight old cigarette smell which I assume the hosts are aware of since there are many air purifiers in the home

We had a pleasant four days at the cabin in August of 2026. Access was easy, it's in a good spot near Hoodsport and on the way to Lake Cushman. The place was spacious and comfortable. Would be happy to return.

Loved our little Towering Cedars get away!

Rustic and charming. The owners were wonderfully accommodating and easy to work with. The cabin was clean and had everything we needed. We look forward to a future stay at either this place or one of the owners other properties.

Beautiful cabin in a very peaceful area, lots of trees. A little drive to the lake, but far enough away that you're away from other people. It was a nice escape. My family had such a great time for my birthday trip...we appreciated all the toys, games and extra availibilities around the cabin. Beds, furniture, extra pillows and blankets were all super cozy. I didn't want to leave! Haha.

Visit to Hoodsport

A very nice quaint cabin in a quiet neighbourhood. We were very impressed with all the amenities that this location offered. This house is very well kept and we will definitely stay here when we visit Hoodsport again. A great place to stay to enjoy what the area offers.

House was clean. Little hard to find in the dark, but direction were great. Will definitely stay again.
At the hatchery five minutes from the house.
Viewpoint of the lake ten minutes away.

Our family had a wonderful summer vacation at this comfortable cabin in the woods near Hoodsport, WA. We absolutely loved paddle boarding 15 minutes away at Lake Cushman. We purchased day passes at Skokomish Park almost every day, packed lunches, spent the day at the lake, and came back to the cabin for a relaxing dinner, movies, and games. We hiked at Staircase in Olympic National Park, and found a public entrance to Lake Cushman outside the entrance for some more water time. We also hiked Lena Lake, which is was very nice. Don’t forget to stop at Hoodsport Coffee for ice cream after a day of swimming or hiking. This is a very nice area for outdoor activities, and we will definitely return! The cabin is very conveniently located.

Awesome water front property

Lovely and peaceful location along Hood Canal It was fun to see the harbor seals, visit the local sights, and kayak on the calm waters. Very clean property with everything we needed. Look forward to coming back again!

Lovely!

Nicely appointed property, great little getaway. We weren’t able to access the ONP due to wildfires but there was still plenty to do, and we would love to come again. Owner is very responsive and accommodating.

Everything about our stay was perfect! When we couldn't get the gas fireplace to work our host sent someone to fix it the very same day. Communication between us and the host was great! We will definitely be back!
