Welcome to the Columbia Mountain Basecamp in the “Gateway to Glacier National Park". The Outdoors Retreat is well located: 15 mins from the Kalispell airport, 20 mins from GNP, and convenient to many other fantastic outdoor areas, beaches & lakes, ski areas, rivers, Whitefish, Polebridge, Bigfork...yet it feels like you’re in your own Montana paradise with unobstructed views.

The space
The Outdoors Retreat is a simply charming guest house that has been recently remodeled and most furniture is brand new.

The bedroom has a comfortable queen size bed and a beautiful mural behind the bed that brings the surrounding outdoors in. The living room has a sectional with a queen-size pull-out bed. There is a large flatscreen smart TV mounted on the wall for enjoying some down time at night after enjoying outdoor activities. The kitchen is equipped with all necessary appliances and cookware.

The house is decorated with a Glacier and Montana theme. A full-size washer and dryer are available for guest usage. It also has heat for the winter, but it does not currently have a/c (not required in MT). The property has parking for 2 cars next to the entrance; however, the garage is not currently available for guest usage/parking.

Once at the house, you’ll find a binder with many local suggestions and brochures; however, let us know if you need trip planning help prior to your arrival. We do recommend looking at Glacier NP's website for information about their vehicle reservation system.

The Wi-Fi on the property is reliable and most cell phone service is great, but one can also connect to “Wi-Fi Calling,” if necessary, as well.

Whether you're looking to get out and explore, get out of the big city and work remote with awe inspiring (and constantly changing) views, or just relax and enjoy the beautiful Montana weather, this is the perfect spot for everything! Guest access
This 2.4-acre property has 2 homes, 2 RV sites, and 6 horse enclosures. You may see other people around the property from time to time. You'll have exclusive access to the Outdoors Retreat guest house and 2 parking spaces. You will also have access to all shared amenities (such as a fire pit, BBQ, and big front and back yards).

Visiting the area with horses? The property has numerous pens and enclosures for horses. Let the hosts know if you’re interested in using them.

Have friends/family visiting with RVs? The property has 2 RV sites with full hookups that may be available. Let the hosts know if you’re interested in using them.

If you plan on working from/while at the property and you'd like a separate computer station, please let us know. We can provide a portable (light weight) computer desk with a hutch (see provided picture) and possibly a computer screen, if desired.
