Casa de Paz is a slice of heaven in the foothills of the Catalina Mountains! This light-filled home is serene and spacious with a cozy vibe and beautiful views of the mountains.
The pool and large garden are wonderful places to relax and experience the unique plants and animals of the Sonoran Desert.
Close to world-class hiking and birding, including Sabino Canyon, and the culture of the city - 15 min to UofA.
Come enjoy spectacular sunsets and mountain views!
The space
Casa de Paz is a peaceful place to pause, breathe and rejuvenate. Our home is ideal for families and friends coming to explore the Sonoran Desert, business travelers wanting a quiet place to work or rest at the end the day, a special romantic getaway with your sweetheart, and those just needing to slow down and enjoy some rest, relaxation and floating in the pool.

The kitchen is fully equipped with range, microwave, refrigerator, and dishwasher. Complimentary coffee and tea provided!

Enjoy magnificent views while sitting on brand new outdoor furniture or drinking your morning coffee on a chaise lounge.

We have a large pollinator garden, so you may see many birds (like owls, quail, hummingbirds, road runners, and hawks), butterflies, and bees enjoying life.

This property does have an attached casita that is separate and distinct from your home. If booked simultaneously, guests staying there do not have access to the pool and will keep to themselves. With over an acre of land, there’s plenty of room!

Guest access
Backyard, pool and driveway area. The pool does not have access from the end of the driveway. Please access by entering the home and going through the back yard.

We loved our stay here! It was in a good location in a quiet neighborhood with great views. Beautiful property, clean, great location. Appropriately priced, comfortable master bed. We had some water temperature problems the first 2 days. After 2 maintenance visits, we learned that the water needed to run 10 plus minutes for hot water to flow to showers. The pool is not attached, you have to walk around and out which was fine but inconvenient and unexpected. HVAC thermostat in main living area reverts to 80 no matter what you see it on. Read the agreement closely before booking.

The property was as described - a spacious, comfortable and well-equipped house in the Catalina Foothills. It was close to several grocery stores as well as Sabino canyon, and the multiple outdoor areas made it easy to stay in or go hiking rather than drive down and over to downtown Tucson.There were a few minor condition issues with the house that we shared with the property management company, whose staff are very responsive. We didn't want to deal with the fixes during our stay, but that was on offer, so hopefully they'll be fixed for guests staying after mid-March 2026. Overall, would stay here again.

One day rental

The property is very nice, in a beautiful neighborhood with dramatic mountain views from the patio, and not far from shopping and dining. We stayed here just one night after returning from Bisbee and were very happy with the property.
