Located in Nelsonville, OH, The Raven A-Frame is a custom built cabin completed in 2023. Whether you're exploring Hocking Hills, visiting Ohio University, or wanting to relax and unwind, we've got you covered. Offering a fully equipped kitchen, cozy cotton bedding, 6 person hot tub, stone fire pit, and 22 foot ceilings with large windows perfect for bird and deer watching, you won't want to leave.

3 minutes to Nelsonville Public Square/Stuart's Opera House
20 minutes to Ohio University
30 minutes to Hocking Hills Visitor Center

In an effort to be as transparent as possible, please note that if you're looking for absolute, total privacy, The Raven may not be for you. You will have privacy, as the cabin is surrounded by woods and has a 300 foot treelined, gravel driveway, but during the winter months when there are no leaves on the trees, other houses are visible. The cabin is built on a hillside and any neighbors are down below.

Also, while the cabin is not built near the highway, you can see the highway during the winter months. During the summer and fall, the leaves block it from sight and filter most noise. It is "in town" in an established neighborhood of Nelsonville. Being in town allows for easy access to things like grocery stores and restaurants, but does not allow for the complete solitude that some guests desire.

No shoes in the house. Please do not set hot pots or cut on countertops. No events or commercial photography/filming. No parties or fireworks.
Do not move furniture in the cabin. Please do not harm any trees on property. No firearms permitted without permission from owner.
Damaged bedding will result in $70 charge to replace it. If cabin left excessively dirty, there will be a $30 per hour cleaning fee will apply.

The venue was exactly how it was listed. The host was really sweet and was able to support us through our stay! Would highly recommend for a family or a couples getaway! This place is beautiful! New and clean and every amenity you could think of! The outdoor jetted spa was great. It was a great place to relax and the proximity being close to town and close to hiking trails in Hocking Hills, makes it an ideal place to stay. I will say it is closer to the interstate than I thought it would be, and sometime we could hear the traffic. Besides that, we would definitely recommend and will stay again when we are in the area.

Beautiful home. Great hosts!

This was an amazing spot to stay with my kids! Beautiful home. Great location, not far from Hocking Hills! Relaxing and Jennifer really did not forget anything as far as comfort and amenities go! We would definitely go back 100% recommend!

Phenomenal Place!

I stayed at the cabin by myself the first night so I could stay focused on a work project. It was the perfect place to work! It was also the perfect place to relax and enjoy a fire! Extremely clean and stall of amenities. Probably the best stocked rental you can find!

Highly Recommend!

The Raven is a wonderful place to stay to enjoy the Hocking area and beyond. The place was very clean and accomodating. The host was very good at communicating and making sure everything was fine. It's clear that they want their guests to feel at gome. Inwould highly recommend!
