Comfy Corner/Pets allowed

We lived in this home until the end of 2022. It is a very well maintained older home that sits on a large corner lot and sits on one of the last cobblestone streets in town. It has 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, a huge living room and kitchen with a dining room, laundry room for guests to use and there is some detergent and dryer sheets provided. There is a huge back yard with nice grass for kids or pets to play. There is a small concrete patio with a patio table and a grill; in the summer months we have a shade cover over it with lights to make it a bit more festive. The house is very spread out so no one will feel crowded at all. There is also a 2 car garage that you are welcome to use. Front door as well as the garage are both coded so no keys or openers to keep up with.
It is 2 blocks from the town square where most of the popular restaurants and shops are located; as well as fair on the square over the 4th of July and June Jams every Thursday night in June.

Kitchen was fully equipped. It has a smaller oven but is totally adequate for most vacations/short stay cooking. Stove is flattop/electric. Washer and dryer were very handy.

Fourth of July on the Square

Perfect location and very spacious property. WeEnjoyed the farmers market and the parade, within walking distance. Would recommend.

Canyon house

Great house! Very clean and spacious. Has a nice backyard. We didn’t use the garage, but it was nice that it was available to us. I appreciated the hand soap and makeup remover towelettes made available in the bathrooms. Everything was comfortable: the furniture, beds, and house temperature. The owner was great! I would definitely stay here again!

The house appears old in the pictures, and it is, but don't let that discourage you. It's very accommodating and the location was a quiet neighborhood. Communication with the host was easy. The only reason for four stars was the internet. We couldn't stream anything without using our own hot spot.

Over night stop

This was a wonderful house to stay at for our over night stop along our summer travels. Large beautiful home with plenty of space for my large family of 8. Very nice and clean.

Palo Duro Canyon

We booked this to stay as a family to hike the canyon. Place was really clean, well furnished (cooking utensils, washer, etc.), and huge backyard for the dogs. Bonus was huge garage to fit my truck to stay inside from the insane winds we had. Definitely recommend this place if you are in the area.
