Quiet Country Ranch Barn Apartment!

Welcome to Cowboy Country! This is a 2 bedroom 1 bath barn apartment on a small working ranch. We raise American Quarter Horses here as well as Registered Charolais cattle. Also present on our property you will find horses, roping steers, 3 Nigerian Dwarf goats, and 2 donkeys. On Wednesday nights we have team roping practice in our arena (weather permitting). We are “horse friendly” with stalls available for an additional fee. Please contact us for details if you need horse accommodations.

This was such a neat place to stay and just as described. Located out in the country with a friendly host and animals to boot. My son got great photos of the stars and a few of the animals. I would recommend this quite place for anyone looking to get away from the city life and unwind.

The pics do not do it justice...the place is so comfortable, clean, quaint and restful! My son and I had a wonderful time and will hopefully go back next Spring or so.Lovely Place!!

This place was the perfectly quaint and peaceful place to land after a day full of adventure. It was tidy, cozy and literally a home-away-from-home. The owners were so kind and indulged my kids in letting them help with the horses and hear stories about ranching. This is definitely the place to stay if you're looking for a nice laidback place to relax.
One of the beautiful horses that hangs out in the pasture nearest the rental.
Every morning the chickens scratch around while the sun rises.
New babies! The most precious calves were there when we stayed.

Quite Country stay.

The property and hosts were amazing!! Waking up to gorgeous sunrises on the lanai while sipping your morning coffee in the quite. Horses quietly snickering in the backround. Yep, heaven!!! The hosts were wonderful, they got a new mare and 3 day old foal while we were there. When we got back from our adventures Melissa, the host, asked if the kids would like to meet them. My 2 children 9 & 4 were over the moon. The pups were super sweet too.

Perfect home away from home! Everything was exactly as stated online. The apartment had everything we needed, was spotless, roomie and cozy with comfortable beds. The location is beautiful with the sweetest animals. We loved getting to pet them all. We will definitely be booking stays here again.

Cozy and Comfy

The property was exactly like the pictures. I was unsure if my 2 year old was going to be joining us but Melissa provided movies for him to watch just in case. The property was so fun getting to see all the animals. It was a great experience and would book them again for an out of town trip again.

This means you will enjoy watching our mothers and future champions running and playing soon. We have raised AQHA race horses for ten years.
