Live like a local in the charming cottage behind our 1930's shotgun home, where a lush tropical courtyard greets you just off St. Claude. The Marigny is across the street, short stroll to the French Quarter (uber in 5). You'll enjoy the spacious, private guest house w/ keyless entrance, 2 separate king bedrooms, full bath, full kitchen w/ laundry and living/dining area. Our home captures the vibrancy of NOLA with a fun, eclectic style. Plenty of street parking, just 1 block to St. Roch Market!

Parking was easy! Location was perfect! We walked to Frenchman Street one day and decided we wanted to Uber the rest of the time. It is located about 15-20 minute walk from most places, but there are coffee places and food trucks within a block or two. 4 adults, Ubers were 5-8.00. To and from. Host was amazing! Very helpful and treated us like we were their family! The house was VERY well stocked! Will book this house for our next trip also!

A Taste of New Orleans

It was a pleasure staying here. While well appointed and having everything you might need, it's funky and fun. Enough comfortable seating for all four of us (not always the case), beds were comfortable and a covered patio area that was pleasant. I would definitely recommend.

St. Roch special

This addition to a shotgun house is the answer to a fun place to stay. Great neighborhood with lots of fun younger people to visit with. The bed was very comfortable, but could have had a better comforter. We took the one off the other bed. We stayed in the bedroom which is the addition. The upper bedroom is right next to

Birthday Weekend

The property is nice, quiet and quaint. It is nicely decorated with what you'd expect to see in NOLA. We were able to take leisurely walks to the tourist attractions in the city and it is just a block away from St. Roch Market which I find to be exceptionable for those who did not want to eat the same foods. We had a GREAT time and I forgot to mention that the beds were EXTREMELY welcoming and comfortable. Would definitely recommend staying at this location!

New Orleans is a truly unique city there is no place on earth like it and no matter how many times you visit it always leaves you wanting more. We purchased our home as a double so that we could share the city with others and are always happy to provide recommendations to our guests. If you see us out on the porch just ask!

We live in a vibrant area of the city! Take a walk around and you'll find large art murals and colorful homes around every corner. Weekends are filled with local art markets, street vendors, and even the occasional, spontaneous second line parade. Folks are friendly and there are so many unique, local businesses to check out, everything you need is close by. Our community is diverse, and welcoming and we are excited to share this area with our guests.

There is a bus stop directly across the street on St. Claude and public transportation is very reliable. Everything is within walking distance, including the French Quarter, but if you prefer to take an uber/lyft it will cost approx. $7-8. We recommend walking down Frenchmen Street where you'll find some of the best jazz music and eateries, it's where the locals go!
