Squatch Hollow is a spacious and comfortable cabin set on a private 100-acre property near Red River Gorge. Surrounded by woods and natural beauty, it offers a peaceful retreat where you can relax, unwind, and enjoy time away from the noise.

The open-concept living area combines the kitchen, dining, and living space into a bright and inviting environment filled with natural light. After a day of hiking or exploring, settle in by the fireplace or enjoy a quiet evening indoors.

Step outside to take in the fresh air on the screened-in porch, gather around the fire pit, or enjoy a meal on the deck. With multiple outdoor spaces and plenty of room to spread out, the cabin is ideal for a comfortable and low-key stay surrounded by nature.

Tranquility at its finest!! I cannot say enough great things about this cabin! One of the cleanest and most comfortable cabins I have ever stayed in. Super peaceful wooded backdrop! Pac-Man arcade was a fun bonus. Highly recommend if you are looking for a place to truly unplug from this busy world! God Bless and thank you! Definitely will be back!

So, I rented this cabin, but due to circumstances out of the host’s control, we were unable to stay in this cabin. However, Erica immediately let us know that this cabin was out of order and she offered us another cabin for no extra cost. Erica was so nice about it and checked up on us later, to make sure everything was ok. And it was! We had a great weekend at Red River Gorge and the other cabin was AMAZING! I would say this cabin is the same, because this host was great and everything that we needed was right there in the cabin we stayed at! Highly recommend!!

This cabin was everything we thought it would be and more. It was clean, spacious, tastefully decorated, well stocked and very comfortable. The setting is private and peaceful with babbling creek, woods and birdsong. The screened in porch out the back was perfect for morning coffee and evening dining. We hope to return and would highly recommend to others.

The Secluded and Tranquil Cabin near Red River Gorge has everything you need, and more charm than described in the listing. The property was located about 50min from Slade and the majority of the main hikes. That made it a quiet reprieve from the business of travelers coming to hike. The cabin was so nice, comfortable, and has all the amenities you’ll need. If we hike this area again we will stay here or one of this owner’s other properties!!

The cabin was excellent. Clean, plenty of room for my wife and I and 5 grandkids. Wood burning stove in living area kept us toasty; maybe a little too toasty. Kids made s’mores over fire pit. One problem. Be sure and call or text property manager. Directions can be confusing and only tell you how to find cabin if you’re coming in from west side of town. Coming in from the east directions not given. But we’d gladly do it again and again. Property managers are nice.

This experience has allowed us to connect with fellow adventurers and sparked our dream of creating our cabin retreat.
