This beautifully unique A-frame nestled on 5.08 acres provides guests with a peaceful getaway surrounded by the natural beauty of the Missouri countryside. Guests can enjoy the great outdoors on the large and welcoming front deck or venture into the backyard and relax by the fully stocked pond or even gather round by a fire at the fire pit. The sounds of nature will be music to your ears in the summer months and the fireflies will dance through the night sky. This welcoming oasis is only 15 minutes from Fort Leonard Wood and is the perfect place to stay when traveling to attend your soldiers basic training graduation or visit for family day. Looking to visit the Lake of the Ozarks? No problem! Our home is only a short 45 minute drive away! If kayaking is one of your passions, the Gasconade River is only 12 minutes away. You will not regret booking a stay at Capone's Cozy Cabin. We look forward to hosting you!

The cabin was beautiful and peaceful. The kitchen and bathrooms were fully stocked. The bedrooms were very roomy and the beds were comfortable. We stayed at the cabin for our family’s spring break and our family very much enjoyed the stay. Feeding the fish at the pond was an absolute highlight. Vanessa was wonderful. She was always very responsive. The check-in and checkout process were very easy.

Staying at this property was a dream from beginning to end! The property is beautiful and easily fit our big family without us feeling like we were on top of each other. It’s only a 15 minute drive to base, which made it so easy to go back and forth. We were able to bring our son back to the house and BBQ and spend really good quality time together. My kids were fascinated with feeding the fish in the pond and had so much fun with it. Communication with Vanessa was so easy, and she’s the best host we’ve had out of all the properties we’ve stayed at. We had to change things a few times due to my son’s schedule with the military and she completely understood and worked with us. She’s amazing. I can’t rave about this place enough and if we ever end up back in Missouri, this is where we’ll be staying!

We had a great stay! We were attending our son’s graduation at Fort Leonard Wood. This was the perfect location since it is close to the base. We were able to relax with our soldier on family day. It was so peaceful and felt like home. The host was great and provided everything we needed. We have stayed at several vacation rentals and this was one of the best experiences.

Everything was perfect! They had everything ready for us and a full kitchen to cook in when we wanted. Everything was clean and it was such a beautiful setup. We had a wonderful time and would stay again if in the area.

Excellent Family Experience

My son graduated from basic training at Fort Leonard Wood. The cabin was a great place for our family to stay. With room to spread out and enjoy.
