The Great Lakes Getaway (Lower Unit) is a renovated, family-friendly apartment just 2 miles from Lake Michigan’s sandy beaches and close to Indiana Dunes National Park. Perfect for up to 6 guests, this cozy space features two bedrooms, a stocked kitchen, Smart TV, and shared laundry access. Close to outlet shopping, wineries, casinos, local cafes, and more!

--No parties, or events – we value the relationship with our neighbors, and strive to keep the home in top condition.
--Max 10 guests (strictly enforced)
--Stairs: Guests must climb steps to enter; upper unit has very steep historic stairs

--Neighborhood is eclectic & transitional – safe but mixed; police station less than 1 mile away
--Train tracks a few blocks away 🚂 (you may hear whistles; white noise machines provided for light sleepers)

--Note: We always try to provide early check-in and late check-out opportunities when possible. (It is simply dependent on whether or not it’s a same day check-in/out, the condition in which the previous guest left the home, and our cleaners’ schedules.) Please notify us if you would like early/late check-in/out, and we will do our best to make it work! 🕚
--Guests will receive key code & detailed check-in instructions via message on the morning of arrival.
--Michigan City operates on Central Standard Time (CST).

--The primary renter is 25+ with a verified government ID.
--A $500 damage deposit is required. This is returned after checkout once our team confirms the home is in good condition.

Information provided is used solely to coordinate maintenance or schedule adjustments during your stay. This information is kept strictly within our team and is never shared externally.
