Set against a towering red-sandstone dome amongst a grove of pinion pines at 7,000 ft., this expansive wooden cabin with a wraparound covered deck blends seamlessly into the desertscape. The home offers 5 spacious & bright guest rooms with en-suite bathrooms, plus a relaxing common area and an industrial kitchen for hosting. Located minutes from Capitol Reef National Park, this is the perfect sanctuary to unwind and enjoy the desert skies after a day of exploring.



Good to know: the Lodge also has a private owners' suite on the main level and a staff storage and laundry room in the basement. Each has its own outside entrance and is locked off from the guest areas. The owners or our cleaning crew may stay in the suite or use the laundry room during your visit.

The house was a great home base for our annual fishing trip to the area. The place was clean, roomy and had great spaces to socialize after the adventure of the day. It's hard to beat the location, right in the middle of some incredible country with seemingly limitless options for fun.

Great family vacation

Great place to stay with the whole family. Every room had its own bathroom. Great location and close to Capital Reef.

The house is roomy and comfortable and in a gorgeous setting. Perfect for large groups. Close to Capitol Reef and several cute towns that are fun to explore. The house could use a deep cleaning especially the kitchen and the dishwasher does not work. Other than that we had a great time and loved the adventure!

The home was clean and nice for our extended family. We all liked the beauty of the area. The kitchen was supplied with almost everything. Some serving spoons would have been nice but everything else was there. Some of the beds were older with springs and were hard. But we would stay again. The separate bathrooms for every bedroom was a real plus. Capital Red was beautiful and it was a short drive there.

Great house. Amazing views.

Checkin very easy. House clean. Amazing view. Minutes from restaurants and Capital Reef National Park. Owner fast to respond to questions.

60th Birthday Gathering

We had a beautiful stay at the Muley Twist Inn. Such a perfect location off the main road and set back against the rock with amazing views across the way. We had 12 women staying there so appreciated the many bathrooms. We were short one sofa bed in one of the Queen bedrooms but we managed with a little sharing. We didn't get to use the front porch like we had hoped, but that was because it was super windy. The air con units whistled in the wind. Great main room space and dinning area. Love the round table!! Borrowed fresh light bulbs from the downstairs as a few on the main level were out. And we didn't even touch the downstairs since it has no windows; that space seems good for kids to play and be entertained by the TV. Not for this group.
