Overall, we enjoyed our stay at the house. Thank you to the owner for hosting us.What worked well:The house has a stylish design and feels cozy. The kitchen is well equipped and has everything needed for cooking, including plenty of nice dishes. The mattresses are comfortable, which made for a good night’s sleep. What could be better:There is no hot tub on the property, despite it being listed in the amenities. The “hot tub” actually refers to a community hot tub located about a five-minute drive away. Short-term guests must pay an additional fee of 30 per person, and access is limited to a maximum of six people. Additionally, popular travel dates are blacked out for short-term tenants. Saying that, houses with a hot tub are generally more expensive, so this property is a good value in the current market; however, the hot tub situation could be explained more clearly in the house description. The house could also benefit from a more thorough inspection of non-working items. For example, the lock in the shared bathroom does not work, which makes the stay less comfortable for guests who are not staying in one of the two master bedrooms. One of the faucets in the master bedroom is not functioning (although there were two sinks, so we were able to use the other one).
