Newly custom rebuilt 1100sf private guest apartment next to the vibrant Green Lake, with everything at your fingertips. Half block to the lake, restaurants, grocery stores and bus lines. Minutes to downtown, Fremont, Ballard, Wallingford, University of Washington. Home features 3br/1 bath, chef's kitchen, living area, dining table, breakfast counter. 3rd br includes pro office chair, desk & sofa bed. Perfect for couples, adventurers, business travelers, families with kids. Free parking onsite & street. 1Gbps Internet.
This unit is a newly custom rebuilt private daylight basement apartment with 8ft ceilings, an open floor-plan concept in our beautiful 1926 Tudor home. Built with the environment in mind down to the no-VOC paint. The fully separate apartment is in the lower level of our home and boasts 1100sqft with 3 bedrooms, large living room, fully equipped chefs kitchen and bathroom. Home is wired with 1Gbps optical fiber internet and wireless connectivity is also provided throughout. Kid friendly.
Bedroom 1 – One Queen Size Bed with all bedding available, closet, dimmable light switches and large window.
Bedroom 2 – One Queen Size Bed with all bedding available, closet, dimmable light switches and large window.
Bedroom 3/Office – Bright east facing room that features a professional ergonomic office chair, desk, 24" external monitor, keyboard, docking station and full size futon. Bedding available for futon if needed and can fit 2 kids comfortably or one adult, maybe two adults if you want to get cozy.
Kitchen - Full chefs kitchen with luxury appliances and amenities (tea, coffee, sugar, spices, oatmeal, stainless steel pots and pans , bake ware, kids tableware, crock pot, blender, coffee machine, French press, toaster, kettle, Tupperware...etc ). Dining table and breakfast nook with bar stools.
Living room - features sectional couch, coffee table, 65” 4K ULED LCD TV, Xbox 360 Game Console, Netflix, HBO, Disney+...etc and Bose surround speakers. If you’d rather un-plug we have board games and books available for use.
Kid friendly - We have kids plates, bowl and cups, a high chair, a Pack-n-Play in one of the bedroom closets for our littlest guests, stepping stool and toys. All power outlets are tamper resistant.
Laundry Room - Spacious dedicated laundry room with washer + dryer iron and ironing table is located in a common space adjacent to the apartment.
Check-in Process
Personalized entry door codes are provided in the VRBO Welcome Guide, 72hrs before check-in. Entry is via electronic smart locks for self check-in. Entrance is through the back door and there are stairs leading down to the apartment.
Guests
Our max guests allowed is 6. Great for families, couples, or even a group of good friends. We have a total of 3 beds (2 Queen beds and a Futon bed). Sheets and blankets for the futon are available upon request. The futon bed is located in the 3rd bedroom/office and not in the living room. The couch in the living room is not counted as a sleeping space or bed.
Outdoor Space
Summer is what Seattlites live for, you will have access to a large, sunny, common space patio with propane BBQ grill and patio furniture. There is also a colorful kids table and chair set. You can also enjoy a picnic at Green Lake which is half a block from the house.
Organic Garden
In the summer, we grow an organic vegetable garden (Basil, Collards, Kale, Chard, Thyme, Sage, Dill, Okra....etc) and guest are welcome to share.
Parking
There is one free parking spot provided at the back of the house. There is also plenty of free un-zoned street parking and you should not have a problem finding a spot.
