Gold Canyon Retreat

The home was amazing - very spacious and comfortable, both inside and out. We loved being remote from Phoenix but still having access to the shops and restaurants. The Mountainbrook community was lovely; we enjoyed walking the area, plus jumping into pickleball games. The only small drawback was road noise from Hwy 60. Highly recommend!

Gold Canyon Ginty home

House was good and met our needs. Noise from the barking dog next door and the traffic from Hwy 60 were unbearable. Difficult to enjoy the patio, have doors open or to sleep at night. Would absolutely not recommend this property unfortunately, not because of the house, but because of the noise of the location. Forgot to mention the fire station is at the corner along Hwy 60!

Bonnie rebooked for the next year a few weeks into her stay. Then 8 weeks later wanted to cancel next year stating that the dog next door was barking and she had anxiety about a accident that was on the 60 freeway 15 miles from the home that she didn't feel safe outside. (The home is not next to the freeway) The owner did reach out to neighbor and ask about dog as well as review security cameras to see if she could hear anything. The neighbor was surprised and said nothing more than the normal. I have been to the home many times and never experienced anything that would give me pause. I figured she must have found a different home and choose to cancel reservation and wanted to get full refund as she did not want to cancel the remaining 6 weeks just next year. The owner opted to not charge the cancellation fee and move on. I would not want to host this group again.
