Guest favorite with breathtaking views of the ridge of the Blue Ridge Parkway as well as Prayer Mountain (15-minute drive away). Fifteen minutes from Prayer Mountain. Less than 20 minutes from the N. Wilkesboro Speedway and Big R Orchards. On a clear day you can see Mt. Rogers in Virginia. 30 min drive to the Blue Ridge Parkway. Fully equipped kitchen, ping pong table, windows overlooking the mountains, and a raised deck. Accessories for babies provided. Large fire pit with stunning views.

You will have a keypad check in for your convenience. We are available through the Airbnb app, Hostfully app and via cell phone. We (Vista Vacation Properties, LLC) use Hostfully as our property management platform.

This secluded vacation home is located at the end of a 1.4-mile-long old logging road. It’s gravel until you get to our property where it is paved up to the house. The paved section is steeper with one switch back but after a few trips, you’ll be a mountain pro! Hunting season is October thru November so please no hiking on the property during those months. There is plenty of great local hiking nearby!

The property was originally logged in the late 1800s/early 1900s and then turned into apple orchards. Few apple trees still remain, but if you look closely, you can still see the terraced mountain behind the house.

You will have the entire main floor of the house for your personal use! No one else will be staying at the house but your group. You are booking at a reduced rate for the three king bedrooms on the main floor of the cabin. The bottom floor will be locked off and unoccupied during your entire stay.

Chestnut Ridge Cabin at Moravian Falls has undergone a renovation with new furnishings and décor. Amazing views out the large living room windows reveal mountains all the way to Virginia! Prayer Mountain is just minutes away and can be seen from this property. Longer-term rates furnished by contacting hosts.

The main king bedroom has an attached master bathroom with a shower/tub combo. There are an additional 2 king bedrooms with a shared full bathroom with a shower and tub in between them on the main level.

Enjoy the mountain views from the master bedroom and one of the other king bedrooms on the main level.

Living room closet has a pack'N play with sheets/blanket, high chair and a changing pad.

Bright dining room with a large table and the kitchen is fully equipped for cooking large meals. Washer/dryer on main floor.


The grocery store is 12 minutes away so you may want to get your groceries on your way to this property. It is a 12-15 minute drive to Prayer Mountain. Wilkesboro, with restaurants, bars and shopping, is 16-18 minutes from the cabin. Stay here as a home base for skiing near Boone, Grandfather Mountain and Stone Mountain. Lots of local hiking and water sports at W Kerr Scott Reservoir. Only 30 miles to access the Blue Ridge Parkway at Deep Gap.

This reservation is for private use of the home with access to just the main level of the house. You will be the only one staying at the cabin.

This charming cabin features 3 comfortable KING bedrooms. Each bedroom seamlessly blends cozy mountain decor with contemporary touches, so you can enjoy an authentic cabin experience with a modern twist.

Each KING bedroom contains a full-length mirror, luggage racks, and plenty of space to store your belongings. The primary bedroom features a plush bed and blackout curtains, so you can enjoy a restful sleep. You’ll also find an ensuite bathroom, a cozy reading nook, and a glass door that opens up to the back deck, providing incredible mountain views!

The second and third bedrooms each contain a plush king-sized bed as well as a chair to enjoy a good book and room-darkening curtains. There is full bathroom shared between these bedrooms.

There are two full bathrooms, one of which is attached to the master bedroom. Each bathroom, equipped with a shower/tub combination, is stocked with fresh towels, a blow dryer and complimentary shampoo, conditioner, and body wash for your convenience.

Make all your meals in the bright kitchen. You’ll find everything you’ll need to whip up all your favorite dishes, a full-sized fridge and freezer, a wall oven and an electric stovetop. Dishes, cookware, silverware and glassware for 10 people.
Start your day off with a hot cup of coffee from the coffee station. You’ll find a 12-cup drip coffee maker as well as a French press. Creamers, coffee, sugar, and tea bags are provided.

The kitchen opens up onto the large dining area. Enjoy all your meals around the charming wooden dining table seating 10 while the modern light fixture illuminates the room. This is a great space for board games and puzzles in addition to meals. You’ll love the carefully curated art pieces and sophisticated touches that enhance your dining experience.

The dining area is separated from the living room by a magnificent stone fireplace, which adds rustic charm to the space. This lounge area offers stunning views of the mountains from the large windows. This main living area is a great place to relax with your group after a day outside. Take a seat on the plush sectional sofa while the heat from the wood-burning fireplace warms your toes. Cozy up and enjoy a good book or some lively conversation as you watch the sunset casting a beautiful range of colors across the sky.

This family-friendly space features a Pack 'n Play with sheets, a high-chair, and a changing pad in the living room (or a bedroom) closet. There is also a laundry closet located near the kitchen area with detergent provided.

Step out onto the back deck and take in the spectacular mountain views including part of the Blue Ridge Mountains. Sit back on the outdoor furniture and see if you can spot Mt. Rogers in Virginia on a clear day or simply relax and enjoy a hot cup of coffee. On nice evenings, enjoy a meal around the outdoor dining table or take a seat in one of the Adirondack chairs and share stories around the fire pit.

This beautiful cabin is perfect for groups looking for outdoor adventures and nature! You’ll be ideally located only 30 miles from the Blue Ridge Parkway National Park and 75 minutes from Appalachian Ski Mountain if you enjoy skiing. In the summer, you’ll find several hiking trails and wineries located within 30 minutes, so you’ll never get bored. Rocky Face nearby (18 minute drive) is one of our favorite spots to hike!
