Unpleasant
Unfortunately, I chose the wrong area to stay in. The property is located inside a complex that offers very little, despite being situated next to the beach and just a 20-minute drive from Agadir. We only stayed for one night as the area felt quite deprived, with many stray dogs and cats wandering around in search of food. It’s clearly a very poor area, which affected our experience. The swimming pool area has no chairs to seat and relax.
The host was nice to talk to and very understanding of the situation. However I asked to have a partial refund and I was told that Vrbo already paid her and could not refund it.
Visiting the local shops was also terrible. While they were quite folkloristic, the overall atmosphere was very different from what I expected. To make things worse, the view from the balcony was almost like looking at a war site.
I am obviously also to blame for not looking into it properly when choosing the site.
