Welcome to Cactus Cottage! This beautiful home is just 10 houses from the bay, where you’ll catch some of the best sunsets on the East Coast. It’s also 10 minutes from Cape May and just minutes from great bars, restaurants, coffee shops, and food markets (including the spot with the best potato salad in the area!).

Walking distance to the bay, ice cream shops, and more. Want to explore beyond the bay? Four (4) Cape May beach tags are included in your rental for access to some of New Jersey’s favorite beaches—but don’t be surprised if you fall in love with the peaceful bay and choose to spend your beach time right there.

Stay in, go out, or cook out in the enclosed yard! This space is stocked with everything you need for a comfortable stay.

Kid and baby friendly! We’ve got a high chair, toys, books, and a wagon to make your family’s stay as easy and fun as possible.

Wonderful stay in this cozy abode.

It was a great home to stay in with its cleanliness and coziness and backyard patio. We are looking forward to staying here again when we come to Cape May.

Cactus Cottage is great! Very clean, well-equipped, comfortable, and quiet. The location (a few houses from the Bay) was a bonus.

A superb greater Cape May getaway

We have been coming to Cape May area since 2021 and we love Villas, as for us they are the best of both worlds: the privacy of the residential neighborhood but close to all Cape May attractions without the constant bustle. Also, the bayside beach is very quiet and kid-friendly, plus it has the magnificent sunsets. We are so happy to have found Marina and Thomas' property. The house is beautifully renovated, very comfortably furnished and a phenomenal value with many very thoughtful touches and incredible attention to detail. It has the goods needed for a comfortable stay and everything is suberbly labeled and described. The patio is wonderfully developed, which is not usual for rental homes in this area, and a great place to have meals and hang out. The hosts also make the use of the garage possible, which is super convenient if you bring your own bikes or other gear like we did. The communication was prompt and precise. There are 4 tags for the main Cape May beach included, and we took advantage of them most days. Also we greatly appreciated that the linens and towels were included in the price, which unfortunately most properties no longer include, and it is a substantial add-on cost and hassle. Big thanks and would be very happy to rent again if they have us :-).

The streets are quiet and safe, ideal for evening strolls or bike rides, and it’s just a short walk to the bay, where you’ll find calm waters and incredible sunsets.

Despite the tranquility, you’re close to everything you need—great restaurants, coffee shops, ice cream spots, markets, and even the Cape May-Lewes Ferry for a fun day trip. It’s the best of both worlds: a quiet escape with easy access to all the action.
