Great space in wonderful location

Clean, comfortable, ocean front home within a couple of blocks of DT Yachats. Owner very responsive and helpful. Would definitely stay again.

Seaside Escape

Absolutely gorgeous place in the perfect location! Great separation of space with more than ample communal space all with breathtaking views. Very accessible and helpful host:-) My family and I LOVED it and will definitely be back!

Great location, friendly service, just needs some minor fixes to score a 4 out of 5..

We could see sperm whales spouting from both inside and outside on the deck --- a clear shot out over the ocean with the whales about 2000' out. Good interior layout but some minor hick-ups. Only about 1/3 of the windows and had screens --- and not even on the screen doors overlooking the ocean. So on warm days (especially in the loft) it was put up with incoming bugs or take the heat. Newer washer/dryer was a welecome plus, and good AV /internet. Kitchen had everything needed, and furniture (including the beds) were good. Bring bar soaps, and all bathroom (soap, lotion, shampoo) supplies as there wasn't anything and even back-up paper-towels and TP were limited. Perfect for 4-6 people, and if it gets some window screens in the loft 2 children (or perhaps adults) could sleep in the loft in sleeping bags. Scores a 3.5 out of 5.

Beautiful Sunsets

We enjoyed our stay at the Sea Palace. The beds were very comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked. The home was welcoming with nice furnishings, an open floor plan and plenty of natural light. We sat on the upper deck and loved listening to the sound of the waves hitting the rocky shore. Our dog enjoyed the deck too. The sunsets were beautiful! We appreciated how gracious and flexible the owners were.

Home away from home

We love this place and truly view it as our own personal getaway home. We simply have no criticisms publicly or privately. Eric and Sandy are wonderful hosts, their property is fabulous and the location in Yachats can’t be beat. Now if only they could control the weather. I love Oregon’s blustery coastal weather, but a couple of times my regular walks were a bit difficult. Thankfully, I come well equipped with my own ballast :)

Amazing seaside stay

The owner was so easy to work with. She checked in often to make sure everything was ok. There was plenty of space for 5 adults and 3 children under 9. The view and sound of crashing waves were so amazing. Easy walk to restaurants and groceries! We’ve stayed 7 times in Yachats coast, this was my favorite place.

Wonderful Ocean Rental

We've been vacationing on the Oregon Coast for years, but this is our first time staying in Yachats & it was very memorable. The rental itself was gorgeous. It's in excellent condition. The beds were very comfortable. The decorations were very sweet & the furniture was in great shape. We've stayed at other pet friendly rentals where the furniture was in rather poor shape, but that certainly wasn't the case here. The entire home had a very welcoming feeling, from the first moment we entered to when we left. And, believe me, it wasn't easy to leave. This rental truly felt like our home during our stay. The studio is close to the house and in the fenced-in back yard so the family member who stayed there didn't feel isolated. The fenced-in yard was a real treat for us too with our dog because we don't have a fenced-in yard at our home. There was plenty of storage space. The kitchen was very nice. The Internet worked flawlessly as did the various television sets. We didn't end up using the fire places during our stay, but they were still a very nice touch. The Crow's Perch was truly spectacular. Every family member enjoyed spending time up there, including our dog. The view of the ocean from this house is impossible to beat. You can see the ocean from almost every room and you can hear the waves throughout the house. It was very relaxing and special to fall asleep at night listening to the waves. The owners were very easy to talk to. They answered any questions we had and addressed any concerns quickly. It's clear they care about the people who stay at their home and want their guests to have a memorable stay. I also want to mention that we experienced a very intense storm during our stay. 60mph+ winds. We could actually feel the house shake and rattle, especially when sitting up the upstairs couch. But despite the intensity of the storm we never lost power at this property. The lights never even flickered. Considering that, until we move anyway, we live in California with frequent extended power outages just from 30mph gusts my family and I were very impressed with the utility company in Yachats. P.S. Our dog experienced the ocean for the 1st time on this trip & he fell in love with it. It's as though he was meant to live near the ocean. 25lbs and he coudln't get enough of the strong wind blowing through his fur every day. Thank you so much for a truly memorable, special, one-of-a-kind vacation that will always stay in our hearts.

Yachats Getaway

We’ve come to Yachats multiple times per year for many years now because we love this special place. This was by far the best place we’ve lodged at. So very many thoughtful touches. This also may have been the first time my wife and I didn’t feel wet inside the house throughout our stay 😊. Could not recommend it more highly to anyone!

Absolutly Amazing Christmas Break

We stayed at the Sea Palace for a week over Christmas. The views were amazing. The house was the most well stocked rental that we have ever stayed at. We enjoyed the hot tub as the snow was coming down.

Beautiful, comfortable home with amazing views

The Sea Palace is a beautiful oceanfront property close to shops, the local grocery store and restaurants. The home has plenty of games and all kinds of amenities. The living/dining areas are comfortable and the views are incredible. Beds were very comfy, we all slept very well. The property overall is well kept and clean. Yachats is a fun, friendly community and everyone was very welcoming.

Very nice place

The location was great, close to town and right next to the ocean. Was able to walk about town. The living quarters were perfect for the group. The lower bathroom was split so it could be used by 2 at once with privacy. The upstairs living space was very nice and spacious with great views of the ocean. The separate bedroom cabin was not well described in the property description, although we had no problems with it. The downstairs bedroom is right beneath the dishwasher, so beware of this if you plan to run the washer at bedtime. The description should also include bring your own firewood and axe for splitting wood. I had some dry wood at home. I would have bought wood, but had no way to split it. Overall, it was a very nice property and would stay there again.

Wonderful Yachats

Amazing location and wonderful base to explore the Oregon Coast. One of the most comfortable, and well equipped rentals we have ever stayed in. Property was immaculate and communication with the owners seamless. Really appreciated being able to bring along the dog, fully fenced yard a huge bonus. Easy walking to town, right on the 804 trail and perfect views of wild coastline.

We have liked it for the second time.

We did many kinds of activities, making puzzles being one of them at the dining room table. It would be nice to have a shade toward the water as the western sun comes in that window.

Gorgeous House in a Stunning Location!

Our family (& 1-yr old Havapoo) stayed for 5 nights in August & our only complaint is that we should have been warned that this isn't nearly long enough! Yachats is a friendly, quirky little place with lots of fun things to do & see- some of the hiking trails in the nearby state parks are just breathtaking. Sea Palace easily ranks in the top 5 vacation rentals that we've experienced anywhere. The house is clean, comfortable, & beautifully outfitted with obvious care throughout. We were pleased to be situated within easy walking distance of the grocery store, bakery, tide pools, & restaurants...having the Pacific Ocean a few feet from our front door was pretty amazing, as well! Appliances seem to have all been recently updated & in good working order...lots of games, videos, puzzles, etc. Our family spent more than a couple of evenings battling it out on the ping-pong table. Sandy does an outstanding job keeping in touch with her guests & ensuring that their needs are met to the greatest extent possible. Thanks for an incredible visit & we hope to get back to Yachats for an even longer stay next time!

Amazing Doesn’t come close!

This is an amazing place to stay super nice super clean and very convenient. The people that on this place have it set up perfectly for anyone that wants to go so you can stay in and watch a Netflix movie or go out and have a nice dinner. Right on the ocean with an amazing view! I’ve been to the ocean plenty of times but we will be coming back here every chance we can get. Highly highly recommended.

Whales, Seals, and Tide Pools!!

This house was great! We walked to get breakfast in the morning and loved dinner at Luna Sea Fish House. We were able to watch whales and seals from the house! It was an incredible experience. In the morning we explored the tide pools that were a short walk from the house and on our last day there was a Farmer’s Market down the street. The location is perfect! We hope to come back!

Bucket List Vacation

This property was ideal for our needs - spacious for everyone to have their own quiet time. Beautiful view of ocean - watched sea lions and then 2 days of whales passing through. Very quiet neighborhood! Enjoyable. One comment to improved for others visiting - make sure windows are washed -- I realize salt is an issue but could NOT view the ocean from inside until we spent the time to wash the inside and outside of the window.... then absolutely wonderful. Also, for week long stay, extra paper towel and toilet paper would be appreciated - had to restock for the week stay. OVERALL, a splendid trip and time spent in Oregon. The bucket list trip for both my parents who are in their mid to upper 80s. WONDERFUL

Wonderful beach house

We loved staying at Sea Palace! Loved the open floor plan, the hot tub, and the views of the ocean were incredible. Also loved being able to walk to shops and restaurants. We had a wonderful time hope to stay here again in the future. Can't recommend it enough!
