Fly Away Cabin: Relax and enjoy the creek views and sounds.

Built in 2021, this cabin is a hidden gem at the base of Jack's Mountain on Penns Creek, a premier trout stream in central Pennsylvania. The cabin is on a stocked section with immediate access to the creek via a set of stairs. Fly Away Cabin is near an Orvis fly shop and has nearby access to snowmobile, four-wheeler and horse trails in a state park about 2 miles uphill from the cabin. 30 minutes from Bucknell University. 35 minutes from Susquehanna University. 1 hour from Penn State. The cabin is quiet, secluded, and away from city lights.

Wonderful!

This property was absolutely fantastic! Very clean and equipped with everything we needed. Mike was great to talk to about the property and surrounding areas. I took my husband to fish for his birthday and Mike called to make sure we were ok and to even tell us where the best spots were to fish! I would absolutely stay here again!

Awesome Penns Creek rental

This awesome cabin was an ideal location for 3 days of fishing on Penns Creek. Quiet, clean and comfortable for my some and I. The host was incredibly helpful in booking, answering questions during our stay and flexible with the check out process. Can’t say enough about the place!

Clean and comfortable

Had a nice relaxing weekend. House was very clean and comfortable. Right on Penns Creek. Husband was able to fish. Met the owner when he stopped by on Saturday morning. Very nice gentleman. Able to unwind and recharge. Pavillion with grill, table and propane fire pit was very nice.

disconnect and recharge

We had the most enjoyable weekend - needed to recharge and this was the perfect place, clean, cozy , well appointed , quite , right on the water , cannot say enough, Michael was quick to respond and a pleasure to speak with , looking forward to return just perfect 10 stars !!!!

Great cabin

Quiet and relaxing getaway

Peace and Quiet

This cabin was so cute and in such a beautiful location! Sitting out on the front porch listening to the creek and birds was so peaceful. The owners were so helpful and communicative. I highly recommend visiting!

Peaceful oasis for weekend getaway

This property was absolutely beautiful. From the craftsmanship of the cabin to all of the outdoor seating areas it was just perfect for a quiet weekend getaway! Wish we would have booked a longer stay!

Fly Away was awesome! So clean, comfortable, peaceful. Listening to the stream and sitting on the porch with nature doesn’t get any better. Michael was great with communicating as well. I would highly recommend Fly Away to anyone wanting peace and quiet and to just be.

Honeymoon Stay

My husband and I enjoyed our week at the Fly Away Cabin. We spent most of our time either outside on the porch listening to the birds and water flow by or near the water at the seating areas. The wildlife was everywhere and after having a stressful wedding process, this is just the place to unwind, relax and enjoy nature. We will definitely be back!

Fly Away Camp on Penns Creek

Incredible property both inside and out. Attention to detail and comfort of guests was of most importance. Very peaceful. Wildlife abounds. View of creek from front porch was beautiful. The attention to detail and quality of the construction in the cabin was very evident. The property manager made sure our stay was a wonderful experience. I assure you you will love this place.

You can sit on the covered front porch in a porch swing and listen to the creek trickle by while sipping your coffee in the mornings. You can take advantage of the downstream stairs to access the private deck above the creek, or the pebbled seating area upstream - no stairs necessary. If you are lucky, you may see the local bald eagles land in the nearby trees. On a rainy day, you can still be outside with both the covered porch and the covered pavilion with a propane fire pit.
