The house/cabin and rooms were exactly as shown in the pictures. Very quiet neighborhood and great yard for our golden retriever. Everything was super clean and we had a great time and will return.

Wonderful cabin!

My family and I stayed at the property during Spring Break and had a wonderful time. The location was conveniently located near attractions and grocery stores. We didn't want to leave and wish we had another week. The host's were fantastic to work with. We will certainly be staying again.

Beautiful Property

What a wonderful place to stay! We got to see deer both days we were there. Everything was clean. Close to the lake and the river. The cabin was gorgeous. We loved the porch and the outdoor fireplace was the best! It was nice to have a quiet place to relax and play board games. I absolutely would recommend it!

Wonderful stay

Cute and cozy little cabin. Easy to find and easy communication with the property host. They were very nice and accommodating. They went above and beyond when one little set back happened, which was no fault of theirs. They moved us to a bigger, lovely (and I'm sure way more expensive) property. We enjoyed every minute at both cabins and would definitely recommend!

Just Perfect

We were looking for a quiet week away for Thanksgiving, and that is exactly what we found. Heart’s Desire was just that - everything we needed was right at hand. The house was spotlessly clean, and the communication superb. The only “issue” is spotty wifi service and tv streaming. But we knew that going in, and it was just no problem at all. There’s value in disconnecting now and then! The outdoor space is as terrific as the indoor space. You won’t be disappointed. Enjoy!

Hotchatown in fall

The house and property were perfectly located! Everything you could possibly want to eat or do was just a short 5-10 minute drive away. The house had everything and then some when it came to what we needed from extra pillows and blankets to fun games to play! Check in and check out was a breeze. It was the perfect setting for a fun couple’s getaway.

Completely Exceeded Our Expectations

We spent two wonderful nights at Heart’s Desire. They host was BEYOND accommodating. There were plenty of towels, dishes, blankets, and other household items that you just don’t see most hosts provide these days. Some hosts provide the bare minimum, but this one really nailed it. They accommodated our last minute booking and gave clear instructions of how to get to the property. From the decor, must have necessities, and bottle of wine they had waiting for us upon arrival, they really thought of everything!! We definitely hope to stay again one day. Thank you for making our stay memorable and stress-free! If I could give more than 5 stars, I would!
