Spacious cottage on nearly 2 wooded acres situated on a small private cove on the crystal clear waters of Schoodic lake. Breathtaking sunsets, and access to views of Mt. Katahdin. Wrap around screen porch, outdoor shower, artisan field stone fire pit with outdoor pizza oven and gas grill. Large floating wooden dock with deep water for diving and boating, as well as a shallow shoreline for kids. Monson slate kitchen countertops and farm sink, dishwasher, washer, dryer, 100% cotton bedding. 2 miles from the quaint village of Lakeview, and a 10 minute drive to Bissel Brothers Brewery. Hiking trails and miles of old logging roads to explore and view wildlife, such as moose and black bears. Perfect rental for a family or a small wellness retreat. Private yoga instruction, and Ayurvedic inspired meals provided upon request.

Beautiful location and camp. Quiet cove on the lake with a great dock for swimming, boating and sunning! Directions were confusing and GPS not really reliable. Would stress just to take Lakeview Plantation Rd from Milo to boat launch and then follow host directions from there. Also, only shower is an outdoor shower which I loved but it’s not for everyone and if weather wasn’t better it might have been as fun!! Very clean and spacious property with great privacy and an amazing screened porch.

Stunning property! The lake and views are spectacular. An unexpected bonus was the outdoor shower. If you try it, you’ll love it. Robin is a top notch host.

Great August stay

The house and lake are both beautiful. We rented a boat, tied it to the dock and spent a terrific week on the water. We used the grill and pizza oven and enjoyed the outdoor shower. The owner provided us with everything that we could need and was super helpful. This is a remote location but perfect for relaxing. Highly recommend!

Lakeside retreat

We thoroughly enjoyed our time at this lakeside home. The covered porch was a wonderful way to keep cool at night, keep away from the mosquitos and enjoy the sunsets. The outdoor shower and pizza oven were hits! The home is in a cove which makes using the canoe and paddle board easy.

The Perfect Getaway!

I traveled to this wonderful home on Schoodic lake with 5 other family members in mid August and it was truly a wonderful stay! There was plenty of room for 3 couples to sleep and the amenities had everything we needed and more. We all agreed the large porch overlooking the lake was our favorite spot and where we spent most our time. The canoe and three stand up paddle boards were also very fun to use when the lake was calm. The outdoor pizza oven was also put to use and it turned out awesome! I cannot recommend this location enough for anyone who wants to travel with a group and enjoy nature! Our host, Robin, was also excellent for any and all communication. We felt very welcomed. Only recommendation I have is there be directions from the main roads to the property. We followed our GPS and came in from the wrong side of the lake and ended up having to take a long and slow ATV route to get to the camp. To be fair Robin did say not to use GPS all the way in! Overall 10 out of 10 !!
