Desert Place is located in the Yuma East Foothills, east of Yuma, close to mountains and three golf courses. It is a 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom, full kitchen with gas oven/stove, and with a small dining room. A/C and Heating. The bedroom has a queen size bed. Twi additional guest can be accommodated with an air mattress in the living room. Guest have use of the heated “Spool”, (1/4 size of a regular pool, part pool, part spa). Downtown Yuma, Yuma Regional Medical Center, MCAS Yuma, and YPG are all about a 20-30 minute drive. Algadones, Mexico for great food, dental work, or eye glasses, is just a bit farther.

Dave was a wonderful host who made sure we are comfortable throughout the stay, while providing privacy. His casita was clean, well equipped and comfortable. His spool was clean and nicely heated. We enjoyed chatting with him learning about Yuma. Highly recommend this accommodation!

It was a very equipped little casita, bed was average , hot tub /pool was awesome, view excellent and quiet area very friendly host and people in general . We d come again !!!! Perfect

Lovely home

The home was perfect for our needs. It was well appointed. Everything we could possibly need was supplied. The location was perfect. Close to major airports and plenty to do and see. A very relaxing spot. And David was very responsive to any questions I had during our stay. We will definitely stay here again.

Awesome Casita

David is an excellent host. The casita was clean, welcoming and well stocked. Obvious care towards the comfort of his giests. Quiet with wonderful views. Walkable neighborhood and convenient to everyehere I needed to go. Thank you and I hope to stay again.

My apologies, I thought I had written a review. Melissa and Murray were wonderful and delightful guest. I enjoyed taking them on a couple of sight-seeing tours to include the old mine town, the Historic prison, and the Center of the World. They are more than welcome back anytime.

Our stay in Yuma

Dave’s place was perfectly described online , we were pleasantly surprised by all of his extra touches in the house . It was fully stocked with all the, as well as extras like games , beach towels , paper plates etc . A quiet , cozy weekend getaway that was very central to a lot of places that we enjoyed going to thanks to his detailed book of places to go ! The spa ended our day perfectly with a relaxing evening . 10/10 recommend and will go again !

THIS is thee best place to stay near Yuma, Az

Incredible! The pictures cant even show how stunning this home is. The neighborhood is gorgeous, the view of the Gila Mountains. When I say view, I mean you see it surrounding you from the living room sliding door. It's breath taking. Filled to max with everything you will need. Prestine condition, private, quiet and in one of thee nicest neighborhoods with double wide streets, cozy huge bed. An absolute treasure of a property! I came to visit our daughter who is a Marine stationed locally. If you are looking for your own place not a packed filled hotel at 3x the cost and you enjoy serenity and beautiful views, quiet days and peacefulness all around you.... THIS IS YOUR FOREVER GET AWAY! Its just out of the way of all the noise, yet within 12 minutes of everything you need. WOW ! The Mountains that you can sit outside (chairs provided) look like you could walk to them. Breath taking ! A slice of Heaven found right here. The property owner is available and we got to meet him, what a treasure, just like this property!

We really enjoyed our stay at desert place. David was a fantastic host. The place was spotless. It was stocked with everything that you could possibly need on a trip. Including some welcome snacks and fresh water jugs in fridge. Plush towels and comfortable bed. Quiet and safe neighborhood. We hope to return in a future visit.
