Enjoy a million dollar view from the condo and it's outdoor deck overlooking the river, Lake Michigan, the Manitou Islands, and the Manitou Lighthouse. Just outside the door of the condo is the footbridge that crosses the Crystal River and leads you to the beach on Lake Michigan.
Tube, kayak, SUP, or swim in the warm Crystal River right in front of the condo and take the river all the way out to Lake Michigan! Walk the beach, stroll along the riverbank, or walk the boardwalk which stretches for blocks, just outside the condo building. Hike or bike the nearby paved Heritage Bike Trail to scenic Northern Michigan destinations.
The condo has heat in every room (there is NO A/C in this building, but there are two door sliders and a large window to create a wonderful cross breeze off of Lake Michigan). The condo has cable tv, internet access, and is just steps from the beach. This condo has a breathtaking view. You will enjoy spectacular evening sunsets over Lake Michigan.
The condo has an open-concept floor-plan including a spacious living room with a wood burning fire place, a large dining table that will seat up to 4 people, and a cute kitchen with breakfast bar seating and bar stools. The kitchen comes complete with dishes, silverware, basic cooking utensils, glasses, coffee pot, pots/pans, and brand new appliances (microwave, stove, refrigerator, and dishwasher). There is one full bath with a bathtub/shower combination, There is a luxurious queen size bed in the bedroom, a large bedroom closet and dresser, super cute decorations (see pictures) and a large window to let in natural light and cool breezes.
There is a gas grill and bike racks on property for you to use, and there is a fire-pit on the beach in front of the condo for use by condo guests.
You can visit the shops and restaurants inside the Village at the Homestead Resort. Or, you are only 2 miles down M-22 from the quaint town of Glen Arbor and 20 miles from all the action in Traverse City.
This privately owned unit nestled on the water requires no public check-in. The unit is on the top floor of the building and is not handicap accessible.
Note: Although the condo is located inside the Homestead Resort, it is not a resort-owned property, it is privately owned. The Homestead Resort Pools and Tennis Courts are not available for use. There are public tennis courts in Glen Arbor (just minutes down the road). You WILL have access to all of the resort amenities that are open to the public, such as all of the grounds and beach area, most of the restaurants, golf, spa, salon, and the shops in the Village.
