Ski trip

Adult family ski trip to Lutsen. Condo was clean, roomy and close location to the mountain as well as Lake Superior. Would definitely stay here again.

The property is very nice and location is great. I loved the numerous decks and bedrooms with private bathrooms. In one bathroom the tub didn't get hot water. Shower worked however and the other bathrooms tub and shower were good.Other reason for 4 vs 5 stars is I personally found the mattress extremely hard and uncomfortable. The other guests said they like and extra firm mattress so had no complaints. We had a 3 bdrm unit.Overall we liked our stay very much and would book again.

Located just off hwy 61 and in close proximity to basic necessities, this property is in a beautiful location.The units are spacious and equipped with the basics.The water pressure is low which is to be expected but installing a shower head to maximize pressure would be of benefit.The units are surface clean but could stand a deep clean in the future.Lastly, maintaining the outdoor space would provide better viewing, the shrubs are overgrown and the walking trail, steps could be maintained better to outlast the harsh weather. Overall we are pleased and would stay again!

Very nice location

Very close to Lutsen Mountain, which is why we were in the area. Easy to get to/from the hill. Beautiful views from the rental. We didn't read the listing closely and didn't realize it was three SEPARATE suites, which was a little tricky since we were traveling with young kids, but we made it work. The three bedrooms are not connected without going out into the main hallway and entering the door code. But the central living space is very nice. Beds were comfortable.

Fall weekend

The poplar River condo was a great base for us to take a cooking class at the North House Folk School. Checkin was a bit rough as the rental,office sent us the wrong code. We panicked as we got the “wait music” when we called, but finally the office picked up and gave us the entrance code. The condo was lovely and peaceful, just what we wanted. It would have been nice to have a map for trails to the lake and river.

Beware of inflexibility of management

unable to stay due to flooding of region. bike race canceled. property completely inflexible and would not refund our cleaning fee when we were unable to come due to horrible conditions in the area for the bicycle race.
