Rocky Gap Cabin North Platte Miracle Mile, Fremont Canyon, Grey Reef, Alcova WY

New cabin on 40 acres located at Rocky Gap entrance. One of a kind rock outcroppings surround you in one of the most beautiful settings in Wyoming. Perfect location with access to Miracle Mile, Fremont Canyon, The Gray Reef, Alcova and Pathfinder Reservoir all within 30 minutes.

Property is located about two miles off of the pavement of Kortes road. The dirt road back to the property can be rutted and difficult to pass during a rain or snow storm. Always check the weather before traveling to this property.

House was built in 2022 and has a well. Well water is ok to drink but may be discolored at times. It is suggested that you bring drinking water if you are picky.

There is Hughes net wifi, but it can be limited at times. The vibe of this property is to be "away from it all," and that is what we had in mind when we set up the satellite wifi system.

Float Trip

Great property to take advantage of all the sportsman activities in the area. Make sure you have a trustworthy 4WD if you’re visiting during the rain season! Will definitely be staying again. Thanks Wes and Todd!

Cabin is extremely clean and well appointed! All the details have been thought of. All the comforts of home in an incredibly remote, peaceful and beautiful part of Wyoming. 4WD is very helpful. Would highly recommend and hope to be back!

I can’t say enough good things about this place! You have to experience it for yourself. The fishing was great but staying on this property really made the trip. The owners of Rocky cap cabin did a hell of a job! Well be back next year thank you!

This is a picture of our "tribe." There are three people who own this property( Todd, Matt and Weston), but it took about 10 that poured some blood, sweat and tears into it. Some of us have been friends for over 40 years. We are blue collar guys who love to hang out, tell stories and fish.

Todd "one of the owners" has been visiting the Miracle Mile since his dad took him as a child. This part of Wyoming has always been special to him. We all had a dream of owning a rural property near the North Platte River and the three reservoirs of this amazing river basin. When the opportunity came up we jumped on it just at the right time.

この宿泊施設の特徴

One of the owners, Matt, is a home builder. He brought out his dad and team and along with the "tribe" we built this property. We couldn't have done it alone as we had significant help from our realtor, our well driller and concrete guys. The property abuts 1600 acres of Wyoming State land is almost 30 minutes from every important fishing opportunity. What we didn't realize is once you get here, it's hard to leave. The tranquility, peace and views from the property are memorizing which makes the cabin a great place to get away from it all.
