We truly enjoyed our stay at Highland Lodge & Big Canoe. The house is very roomy and was perfect for our two families. We made memories that will last for many, many years. We will definitely visit Big Canoe again in the future.

This house was beyond our expectations! It was absolutely beautiful, incredibly clean, and professionally decorated, with stunning views from every room. It had the feel of a gorgeous mountain lodge while still being warm, comfortable, and homey.Almost every bedroom had its own bathroom and a beautiful view. The kitchen and butler’s pantry were completely stocked with everything we could possibly need, and there was plenty of comfortable seating throughout the house and also out on the deck.The setting was so peaceful and private, yet still surprisingly close to Atlanta. Everything about our stay was easy, and Patti was the sweetest host. She even met us at the house when we arrived and gave us a personal tour.One of our favorite things was that every time we walked through the house, we noticed another beautiful detail we had not seen before. Such a special & loved home and an amazing place to stay. Our only regret is that we didn’t stay longer. We would absolutely come back!

Big house with bedrooms spread out throughout the house gave everyone privacy. The kitchen is very well stocked with cooking gear and aluminum foil, etc. With 2 fridges. Beautiful view on back deck with firepit and numerous chairs. Very homey feeling - everyone liked the house.

Fantastic well appointed mountain home with amazing views

Everything was just perfect from the check-in process to check out. The kitchen was well appointed and all facilities such as hot tub etc. were in wonderful working order.

Beautiful and comfortable home. The views from the back porch were amazing. Kitchen is well stocked. We had so much fun at the pools, beach club, pickleball courts, golf course and hiking trails. Patti was a wonderful host and took care of everything we needed.

Best Place Ever

The cabin was amazing and the Mountain View was absolutely beautiful! Pattie Kimbrell was a great help and accessible to our needs. The whole family was so impressed with the house and location!

Great place for our Creative Conference

Place was everything we hoped for and Patti made sure that the few minor bumps we hit were taken care of quickly. If you need a place for a creative retreat, look no where else, this place has it all.We will definitely return again!!!

Beautiful home

House was exactly as pictured, was in great shape And had everything we needed. Views were incredible off the deck and were well worth the trip up to the top! Plenty of places to sleep, entertain, spread out, and enjoy the area.

It’s hard to leave The Lodge is

An incredible stay at The Highlanf Lodge.Perfect for large family gathering Extremely friendly layout and the Butler Kitchen if fabulous from coffee breakfast bar to the extra frig space The lower level with the jacuzzi and dart board offered fun moments for all The rental managers timely communication was friendly and supportive So enjoyable that no one wanted to leave to property for the lake or pool area.We hope to plan another visit in the future

Fantastic house, fabulous host!

The house is beautiful, really well equipped, splendid view. Patti, our host was incredibly fast to respond to questions and super helpful. Just be aware, the property is pretty remote, so do your grocery shopping before you arrive!
