The Space:
Introducing PeakView Lil Lux - a new gem in the Pike's Peak region! This luxury tiny house has a large deck with stunning views of Pikes Peak, Garden of the Gods and the Manitou Incline. It's located on a ridge behind the main house so the views reamin in tact and even better! You'll be just minutes from downtown Old Colorado City, Manitou Springs and Colorado Springs.

Draw the curtains to experience a more secluded, intimate feel in this new, tastefully appointed modern luxury space. The heating unit keeps you comfortable on colder winter days, while our air conditioner quickly cools the space on those rare Colorado summer days when one needs to do more than open the windows to let the breeze in.

KITCHEN:
Fully-outfitted kitchen with oven/stove, half-fridge, coffee-maker, french press, electric tea pot, pots, pans, and all the necessary accessories and utensils.

BATHROOM:
The bathroom is sparkling clean and spacious, and there are plush towels to wrap yourself in after you enjoy the couple's shower with dual shower heads.

OUTSIDE:
Grill and dine on the deck, savoring mountain air and incredible views! Experience Pike's Peak beauty from the entry deck or inside through sliding glass doors. Relax and unwind in our communal hot tub, shared with the main house on the property. Enjoy the soothing bubbles and stunning views while getting to know your fellow travelers or enjoy having it to yourself as it is first come, first serve. Perfect for a romantic getaway or a fun-filled family vacation.

Guest Access:
PeakView Lil Lux is wonderfully setup as a private unit with a large deck, beautiful views, and its own dedicated parking space for your stay! Enjoy the unit to yourselves!

The Neighborhood:
PeakView Lil Lux is in a quiet, residential area on the Northern edge of Old Colorado City (OCC), between downtown OCC and the east entrance to Garden of The Gods. It's super-convenient to restaurants, grocery stores, liquor/wine shops and area attractions. This residential area is located on a hillside that affords guests beautiful views of the foothills and mountains to its West. It's not uncommon to witness flaming sunsets or stunning meteor showers from our location, all from the privacy of the living room or entry/observation deck.

Walk, bike or drive from the property to Rock Ledge Ranch and Garden of the Gods, take a stroll in downtown Old Colorado City or Manitou Springs, where there are many great restaurants, pubs, galleries, and novelty shops. Hiking, biking, climbing, spelunking, zip-lining, sightseeing, fishing, and other recreational opportunities abound!

Getting Around:
Your car is likely to be the most convenient mode for getting to all the places you'd like to see in the area, however, many attractions are bike-able within minutes, and some, such as Garden of The Gods, are within 15 minutes' walk. If you prefer public transportation, City buses go on a regular schedule from nearby Old Colorado City East to downtown Colorado Springs and West to Manitou Springs. Uber, Lyft and taxi are also available for local travel.

Other Things to Note:
For a seamless check-in experience, you'll receive a unique code via message along with your check-in instructions on the morning of your arrival. You'll use this code for keyless entry.

We've also prepared a starter supply that includes paper towels, coffee K-cups, toilet paper, shampoo, body wash, and plush white towels! We hope these amenities add an extra touch of comfort to your stay.

Security: the neighborhood is generally considered very safe, but we do have exterior security cameras on Peak View to protect the premises.

***We frequently drain and refill our hot tub so that it is clean and sanitary for all of our guests! Our water comes from the Rocky Mountains at crazy cold temperatures in the winter - sometimes as low as 48°. Our hot tub heats at about 6° per hour which puts the hot tub heated to 102° later in the evening when it has been drained and refilled earlier in the day. You may see the temperature in the 60s or 70s when you arrive but rest assured it is heating as fast as possible and will be ready for enjoyment later in the evening.
