This house perfectly suited our needs for a family gathering to celebrate birthdays, hike and do the Via Ferrata. It didn’t hurt that it’s only a short drive to Miguel’s pizza! The availability of many beds and bathrooms worked well for us. The biggest detractor was the uncomfortableness of the couch and chairs in the main hanging out area by the kitchen. This is where we spent the bulk of our time as the weather was too hot to use the outdoor spaces much. It seemed a trivial thing at first but grew more bothersome as time went on. All in all I’d give a 4.5 rating if I could. It was a pleasant, clean and (mostly) comfortable home and the owner was quite responsive and accommodating, allowing us an early check in time. I could see us returning to the Honeybee Cabin in the future.

We had such a wonderful stay celebrating my mom’s birthday! The house was perfect for our group (8 adults, 3 kids, and 1 baby) - spacious, comfortable, and the 4 bedrooms/4 bathrooms made everything so easy. The views were beautiful, and the location was ideal for hiking and exploring the area. The host was very kind, responsive, and gave great recommendations - we loved Miguel’s Pizza and Redpoint BBQ!There were just a few minor issues during our stay, including some ants in the kitchen and a couple small maintenance items, but nothing that took away from the overall experience.Overall, we had a great time and made some really special memories here. Thank you for a lovely stay!

Great place to stay when visiting the Gorge!

The location to trails and town are great! It’s a very fun house, and our kids loved the upstairs area. The decks are amazing and we loved sitting out there any time of day! Definitely beware of the road in, as it can be a little rough, but it’s worth it for the solitude of this house.
