Relax and enjoy the best that Washington has to offer from the calming warm waters of Hood Canal to the views of the Olympic Mountains at The Lookout on Hood Canal.
The Lookout on Hood Canal provides breathtaking view of the Canal and is conveniently located Close to Olympic National Park, Murhut Falls, Mt. Walker and other trailheads.
The living room has an open-concept living area, with a warm welcome feel from the nautical décor of the home, including a nice telescope perched and ready for you to use. You can step outside from the front room to a wonderful wrap around deck to enjoy the view, including birds (lots of Bald Eagles), seals, otters, and often our local herd of Elk will wonder to the water for a refreshing drink. If you're looking for a place to unplug, look no further! Come relax on the water, BBQ on the deck, or read a book by the fireplace, at this home away from home

Literally waterfront property. Walking on the shore, we found oysters although we did not have a license and it was not the safe time of year. We also saw bald eagles.

Misleading Property Details but Good Location

The location is amazing, but our family was ultimately disappointed with our stay.We cleaned the property throughout our two-day stay. We even washed blankets in the living room areas upon arrival because they were dirty and smelled as if they had not been washed.We had to wash all dishes by hand because the dishwasher did not work. The dishwasher was a compact countertop model, about one-quarter the size of a standard dishwasher. This is not the type of appliance one would expect in a full house rental. You would typically find it in an RV or use when camping though! Before leaving, we stripped the sheets from the beds and started the first load of laundry. We placed our garbage outside the property, as the street trash bins were already excessively full prior to our arrival.The property does not properly disclose devices for security purposes. We unplugged a patio camera due to privacy concerns. The "office" mentioned in the listing is in the washer/dryer room, which is slightly better than a tiny basement. Here is a picture of the BBQ that was out of propane and not cleaned when we arrived for the Fourth of July.Two days after checking out, we were charged 250 in damages thru VRBO. We requested proof of alleged damage and have received nothing.

Wonderful and fun stay with our of state siblings. Gorgeous views of the Hood Canal, sunsets and sunrises.

The surrounding waters of Hood Canal leave all those that venture to its shores, mesmerized with fabulous memories of those visits. Some of us return here to live.

Experience those awe-inspiring views of Hood Canal, Mount Rainier and the fabulous snow-capped Olympic Mountains. Taste fresh oysters, clams, shrimp and crab; the prized shellfish Hood Canal is famous for. The Olympic Peninsula is the place to enjoy hiking, biking, bird watching and strolling the beaches just to name a few.

Our Vacation Homes have those special intimate details for relaxing and re-energizing your well being. Our homes are fully equipped; kitchens stocked with cooks tools, coffee pot and microwave. Bed and bath linens are provided. We hire local Professional Cleaning Services to clean all of our homes to the standards of a first class hotel and per the State Guidelines. Our cleaners take pride in their work to assure your stay will beat your expectations.

Our Vacation Homes are an easy commute from Seattle, two hours from the Bainbridge or Bremerton ferry or about 2.5 hours from the Kingston ferry. Come to relax with at our Vacation Homes on Hood Canal! We are a customer service oriented company and have a standard of excellence we live up to every day.
