One of a kind, private, fully remodeled custom estate with no finishes spared, located in the coveted Mt Helix neighborhood of central San Diego County boasting a rare 8 bedrooms and 4 baths with sweeping mountain views. Over sized 7' deep salt water swimming pool, jacuzzi, multiple decks and terraces, 2 giant outdoor custom kitchens, 1980s/90s themed arcade room, gas line connected fire pit with seating for 15 and more yard space and games than you know what to do with! The perfect property for large groups and gatherings who want to sleep comfortably and have their privacy from one another and neighbors but still be within 20 minutes to the beach and San Diego's top attractions. However, the estate has so many amenities and entertainment that you may never want to leave! Truly a special property don't miss out!

This home was simply amazing. Massive space, well taken care of, stocked with all of the necessities anyone would ever need to never leave the property. The BEST part was this is a pet friendly location, so being able to have my pups with us made our staycation feel complete. We stayed at this property for an early Thanksgiving celebration with our family. The grand children loved the pool and backyard activities. Our adult children loved the arcade & theater room - win, win for everyone! The home has a lot of stairs, for older guests that may stay there. There were also so many restrictions and rules with this property and the 9:00 pm noise curfew felt a bit overdone and keeps you from fully enjoying all that this home has to offer.

Beautiful home and great place for large groups. Plenty room to spread out! Communication with property hosts was great and they are very helpful. Be prepared as use of outdoor area after 9:00 PM is strictly prohibited and is enforced.

Every detail of this home was immaculate. When I used the steamer to steam my dress, I had to look at it and see where I can get it. There were truly no expenses spared on a beautifully designed, well thought out space. From the kitchen, to the game room, to the movie room and gym details. It was the perfect house to share with loved ones and we created the best fun memories with our kids, family and friends together.

Labeled as “vacationers dream” but has strange house rules: cannot be outside // in the jacuzzi or pool past 9pm, cannot play music in backyard on a speaker, cannot yell in backyard at any time. This is not only emphasized by the host in multiple messages (sent only a few days before arrival) but also by at least 4 different signs around the property.Our group adjusted and had a wonderful time regardless, it was just unexpected and the rules are pretty restrictive. Not being able to use the backyard in the evenings or play music was unfortunate, and definitely impacted the trip negatively.Also the pool basketball hoop featured prominently in the photos is not there.

Oasis in El Cajon

The house was everything we’d imagined from the pictures and so much more!! The layout worked well for our group of 11 (2 adults and 9 high school students) and had plenty of open communal spaces in which to gather. Kitchen and baths were well-equipped and the pool and spa were easy to operate. Can’t wait to stay here again!

Annual Golf Trip

Group of 14 guys we were on our 13th annual golf outing and the house did not disappoint. This was our first time in California and we thoroughly enjoyed the house. Will rent from again if we return to San Diego.

Beautiful Home Away From Home

I booked this house for a weekend birthday getaway. The house was beautiful and clean. My guests enjoyed all of the amenities. House rules are inside by 9pm, which initially we were dissappointed because we wanted to enjoy the outdoor amenities however the indoor amenities kept us busy and entertained. Beautiful home.away from home.

Annual Family Vacation

Let me just say this home is a mini resort! Our family (adult children and grandchildren) had the best time! There was something for everyone from the movie theatre to the amazing backyard. In addition, there was ample space for a large family that included three babies. My only recommendation is to make sure that you build in enough time to enjoy the home while visiting the San Diego area.

The house is really nice, with plenty of space and a variety of different types of locations, like a giant covered, outdooor kitchen, theater, workout room, and game rooms. It made a great spot to host our company retreat. The only issue was we were informed only the week before arrival that it would cost 800 extra in order to heat the pool or hot tub. When I raised the fact that the listing says “no extra fees” I didn’t get a response. I had to push a couple more times until I got reply that said the hot tub heat was available at no extra charge. The host also said the listing says there’s an extra fee for that heat, which is true, but it’s in the check out instructions section and does not disclose an actual rate or dollar amount. Asking for an extra 25% on top of the rental amount for a one week stay, only a week prior to arrival, didn’t seem fair. Eventually the host replied that the hot tub heat was available at no extra charge. That was appreciated, but we only got that reply 2 days into the stay, despite asking several times. Overall, great spacious property. Would recommend, but would suggest the host be more transparent about the actual amount of the pool heat fee. I recommend asking for the exact amount before booking.

Wonderful house

Our family rented this house for a 10-day vacation. Its 8 bedrooms were perfect for our family of 11 (7 adults and 4 children under the age of 10). I've rented places in the past where the online photos were old or misleading. Not this house, it was better than it looked online. Very clean and even the dining room table had 11 place mats set for our meals. Lots of room and plenty of indoor & outdoor activities for all ages. We loved the pool and hot tub. It was a perfect way to end a sightseeing adventure in San Diego. I would definitely think about returning.

Great Family Time

This house was the perfect place for our family of 15 holiday celebration. Our teenagers enjoyed all the gaming areas...indoor and out. The outdoor kitchen area was a great gathering place. We all enjoyed the spectacular theater. The kitchen and laundry facilities are great for a large gathering. The bedrooms are comfortable, beautifully furnished, and arranged for flexibility of group sleeping. We had an amazing time and would definitely like to come back to this property.

Wonderful property!

We spent 6 days here for a family reunion with 23 people. There is lots of room to spread out and give everyone their own space. So many things to do in the yard, in the house and at the pool. Every evening the guys had a billiard competition while kiddos were in the theatre watching a movie. Lots of relaxing time sitting in the hot tub and letting the kids swim in the pool. Host was very responsive when we had questions. Loved our stay in San Diego and at this property!
