Here's a little secret about West Beach: it's just as good on a Tuesday as it is on a Saturday, without the crowds or the weekend price bump. Stay 4 nights or more at Nauti Mermaid and 10% comes off automatically. No code needed. Just more time to enjoy the beach.

THE NAUTI MERMAID
A thoughtfully designed 1-bedroom coastal condo for couples and solo travelers who want easy beach days without staying in the middle of the crowds. Located on West Beach just 1.5 miles from the heart of Gulf Shores, Nauti Mermaid has deeded beach access directly across the street.

Inside, you'll find a comfortable queen bedroom, sofa bed, fully stocked kitchen, coffee bar, Smart TV, WiFi, dedicated workspace, and in-unit washer and dryer. A shared pool, grill, and picnic area are also available.

THE LOCATION
You're close to restaurants, groceries, shopping, and Gulf Shores attractions while enjoying a quieter stretch of West Beach. Waves Grocery, Beach House Kitchen & Cocktails, and S&S Seafood are nearby. The Hangout, Gulf State Park, and the heart of Gulf Shores are just a short drive away.

Guests must be 21 or older to book. To finalize your reservation, guests must complete a rental agreement, submit a valid government-issued photo ID, and authorize a refundable $300 security deposit hold. If bringing a pet, a $150 non-refundable pet fee applies. The condo is accessed by stairs and there is no elevator.

I'm Laurel, the owner of Gone Coastal in Gulf Shores, and I’m the person behind it all. No property management company, no middlemen, no passing guests off to someone else. I’ve been hosting on the Gulf Coast for more than 20 years, and I still handle things personally because I believe guests notice the difference.

I first visited Gulf Shores in 1990 with my two Golden Retrievers. Back then, truly pet-friendly places were hard to find. When I bought my first property in 2002, I made a simple promise: keep it clean, keep it well stocked, and make guests and their dogs genuinely welcome. That promise still guides how I host today.

Gone Coastal was founded in 2007, and my approach hasn't changed: if something isn't right, I fix it. Nauti Mermaid is a reflection of that philosophy. It's a smaller space, but every detail is intentional, from the well-stocked kitchen to the coffee bar and the little things that make a stay easier.

I’m not interested in managing a collection of properties. I’m creating places I’m proud to share with people who want to enjoy the Gulf Coast the way I do.

This is a smaller condo, but every detail is intentional. The space is clean, well stocked, thoughtfully maintained, and designed to make your stay easy. A shared pool, coffee bar, in-unit laundry, and dedicated workspace add the conveniences that make a difference.

Well-behaved pets are welcome, too. If you appreciate a clean, cared-for space, clear communication, and a host who genuinely pays attention to the details, Nauti Mermaid is a great fit.
