Gorgeous newly updated 2 bedroom, 2 bath cottage on a hill with views of Lake Granbury. Master has a king bed with a full-size sleeper sofa (for the kids), laundry room, 55" TV, and full bath with tub/shower combo. Guest room features 2 twin beds with 42" tv and its own separate entrance. The living room has a wood-burning fireplace, a 55" TV, Queen size sleeper sofa, and plenty of space for the whole family. Pet Friendly.

Good accommodations

Been coming to Granbury for a reunion weekend for numerous years. This met our needs so well. Clean, lots of natural light and comfortable beds.

Birdsong Cottage was the perfect place for us. The primary suite is HUGE. Water pressure was strong and comfortable and we had all the supplies we needed for our 4 day stay. We mainly just used the bedrooms and bathrooms since we were visiting friends just 4 minutes away on the lake, but the living room, dining room and kitchen looked well equipped and decorated nicely. The dining room table is cool. Our group would have loved 2 "double or queen beds" in the house over the room with the twin bed and a pull out couch, but we knew that before going into it. We were concerned that the back door was unlocked when we checked in late at night, but all worked out fine. We will for sure stay there again and shared the link with our friends for them to recommend as they often have out of town visitors! Thanks for sharing your home!

Peaceful retreat

My husband and I and my mom all came in for a wedding and had the best place to relax and destress from all the wedding chaos.

Wedding weekend

What a great weekend in Granbury! The home was clean and had great views! We enjoyed the walking trails near by. Looking forward to rreturrning.

Secluded Country Cottage

Secluded home on a private road. Far and away the best stocked VRBO we've ever stayed in. Bathrooms and kitchen had every necessary for a comfortable stay. Nice large common area and huge Master suite. No details missed. Enjoyed the stay.

Thanksgiving Getaway

Our family was looking for a property to stay in while we visited family in DeCordova Bend Estates for the Thanksgiving holiday. Birdsong Cottage is ideally located and was a the perfect property to accommodate our time in Granbury. The house is located on a quiet, private road with amazing views and was well stocked with all the necessary amenities. The host was wonderful to work with, very responsive and willing to accommodate all of our needs. I highly recommend a stay at Birdsong during your next visit to the area.

Birdsong Cottage

Dish washer was full of dirty dishes and some dishes in the cabinet were also dirty. The smell from the hall bathroom was very stinky. Not sure if the septic tank/system needed to be cleaned. Other than that we loved the house. So much space, very roomy.

Appreciate the feedback and will notify the cleaning staff of the dishes. I’ve stayed and have had visitors since and have not noticed a smell from the bathroom but still went ahead with a sterilized cleaning to be confident it’s handled. Your input is valuable to us so appreciate the response and happy you enjoyed the rest of the house and your stay.
