an oasis in the middle of the bourbon trail located in historic Shelbyville...a unique and peaceful bohemian atmosphere...close to food and drink ..don't need your car...this two-story bohemian oasis is perfectly placed in the heart of historic downtown Shelbyville and the center of the Bourbon trail.Once a music shop, you'll find vinyl records lining the shelves along with a smattering of musical novelties on the scene. The main level includes a large hangout area with a battle and chairs. You'll find the essentials of a kitchen sink and coffee maker on this level as well as french doors the lead to back patio.

The upstairs hosts a queen sized murphy bed and sofa bed. Has a desk, 65" smart tv with Samsung sound bar plus additional seating along with your full bathroom. Given the songs and stories that have been shared here, it's no surprise that guests find themselves inspired in the creatively curated space. From the pops of brilliant colors and fabrics to the canopy of hanging plants, you'll love the vibe of Aasis 577/

During the day and into early night, you'll hear the din of downtown restaurants and businesses. Being a smalltown, the streets roll up just after the last dinner crowd heads out fr LaCocina de Mama your neighboring property.

Fun Stay and Convenient Location

This place was perfect for a Derby week stay. It was convenient to all the towns and distilleries we visited. Was also close to Louisville where we enjoyed The Kentucky Oaks and Derby. All the amenities we needed for our stay. The Main Street area has plenty of eateries and quaint shops. Music lovers would love this spot. Lots of vinyl to listen to for your downtime. We loved it here!

Kentucky Oasis!

This VRBO is the perfect spot for a weekend getaway. Walking distance to everything Shelbyville has to offer and a short drive to everything else! The space provides a cool, quiet relief from a very hot and busy Saturday in Louisville. The hosts are prompt and very helpful with any questions that come up.

Can’t say enough good about this place!

The pictures certainly don’t do this place justice. When you walk in the door, it just has such a cool vibe, with walls lined with LP albums, music related posters, and instruments hanging on the wall. Once you get upstairs, the living/sleeping Area is spacious, comfortable, and Inviting. And the big bonus for me was the really nice little Mexican restaurant immediately out the back door of the property. Not loud, so not intrusive, and all the employees there are awesome and the food is great. If I ever need a place to stay close to this area again, this will be on my list. I could go on, but trust me this place is terrific!

Shelbyville is very walkable, with tons of cute shops and places to grab a bite if you are hungry. The Oasis itself is super cute, and my hubby loved the record player and the selection of music. Our overall stay was pleasant and a well needed break from normal life.
