We had the perfect week. Everything you need for a quiet getaway. Good bath and kitchen amenities. The wood burning fireplace is fantastic. Wood is easy to find. You must like cats, which I do, because there's 3 adorable kittys that live under the porch. I fed them twice a day. And the best part was visiting the owner's 3 cow children and waking up in a winter wonderland. I couldn't have asked for a better week.

Beautiful rustic cabin. Hot tub was wonderful. Everything was clean and inviting. Peaceful property with a pretty pond to look at while sitting in rocking chairs on the porch. My husband and I very much enjoyed our stay.

Wonderful location and property. Well kept and clean. Nicely stocked with essentials (coffee, paper towels, firewood, etc.).PS: The coffee pot/carafe may not be a good fit for the coffee maker (too short) - when making more than 6 cups, it overflows b/c the carafe does not bump up the button under the maker to let the coffee flow.

Such a beautiful place-. Cabin was decorated perfect. Sat out on the porch reading a book, took walks and just soaked it all in. Had a fire twice and roasted marshmallows ! We left twice once for Morgantown market and the food store and the second time was sunnyside , Poole forge and Stampede bbq ! All a must.

If I could give 10 I would!! What a fabulous place. My husband and I are definitely going to book this place again. I did enjoy the peaceful and quiet area.. truly amazing. The cat welcoming committee was pretty special too. Clean, comfortable and charming . Thank you for letting us stay!!

Quick early summer get away

My husband and one of our dogs for a few hot nights in June. Everything was as expected with check in and amenities. Very quiet and aesthetically very pleasing.

Living back in 1800

Very quietly outback wood . We enjoy so much there . Be away from innercity have us chilled. Lovly cabin will reserve again in fall .

What an adorable little gem! So rustic yet we wanted for nothing. ( I’ll bet the Little HouseOn the Prairie didn’t have a hot tub inside!) The porch overlooking the pond was so peaceful and we enjoyed cooking in the kitchen and listening to the rain on the roof! Caught a few fish and cuddled with the resident kitties who are quite nosy and eager to join you as you sit in the rockers outside. So sweet! We have our own barn cats and miss them when we travel, so we felt quite at home as they supervised our unloading of the car from the start. Definitely will return!

My name is Lisa Martin & my husband is Merv.
We both love old log cabins & peaceful settings.
It had been a dream of ours to restore a old log cabin.
We built this cabin to rent out & share with others.
The cabin was orginally from Manhiem. We numbered the logs tore it down & moved them to this property. My husband & son built the cabin & set it back up. Every minute of spare time they had they worked on it. It took around 1 year to complete. We would love you to come & stay!

We enjoy the solitude & wildlife while staying at the cabin. It is a great place to unwind! Enjoy sitting on the rocking chairs on the front porch overlooking the pond. Listen to the birds, watch for the deer, in the spring listen to the peepers.
