This cabin sleeps up to 6 with a queen over queen bunk in the common area and a bedroom with a twin over full.

This property was a great location for our family. Just a short drive to Carbondale and the SIU campus. And the beds were super comfy!

Great little getaway spot!

Wonderful cabin! Very clean and well maintained. Had everything we needed and more! Quiet and peaceful property - loved the view of the pond! Great for 2 but plenty of room for 6-8!

Great weekend getaway!

The Red Wilderness Cabin was a perfect place to stay for our weekend of fishing tournaments. Our boys had a place to charge their boat and work on their fishing gear in preparation for fishing. The interior was super cool and very accommodating to all of us. We loved being down a down end road no traffic or worries about our boat. We can’t wait to stay again. This time hopefully for a wine trail trip!

Simply Amazing!!

This was our first time booking/staying at a VRBO and I will say this lady has set the bar real high the next time we do! The barndo-cabin was a real delight. Super clean! Everything you want and need are there for you! It is super cozy! We will be booking this again as a short little weekend get away! Thank you!!

Quaint red cabin

This red cabin is tucked away at the end of a dead end road. The inside is up to date and very clean and cute! I rented it for a small quiet get away for my husbands birthday. He loved it. It was very spacious and offered everything we needed! We enjoyed a lot of time outside by the fire pit. We have kids also age range from 8-2, they all had fun too and didn’t want to leave! Also the manager is very quick to respond!

We loved this place

We needed a night to spend with relatives as we passed through. This was perfect! We had a fire pit and roasted marshmallows. Sat on the porch with the pond right there for the most perfect vibe. The inside was just amazing. Decorated so nice and comfortable. We had a question and the host was super responsive. The beds were super comfortable and plenty of room for everyone. My only regret is I didn’t stay longer! We will be coming back.

Barndominium was perfect for our stay!

This two room house is perfect for chummy friends/families since it has one bathroom. There is one room with a door and a bunkbed that can accommodate 3 adult sleepers comfortably, the other main room has a big bunkbed that can sleep 4 adults. In that main room is a ladder to a small loft with a mattress that may be able to sleep a couple of kids (they would probably enjoy the view and coziness of the spot). The garage area is basic but nice, folks could hang out there and play games or whatnot. We watched the recent eclipse from this locale and were not disappointed! At night the stars are bright and you can see fireflies. We had a very nice stay here and would come back. Thx Tara!
