Quiet Shouse or a house located on 200 acres of wooded property. Gated and fenced. Enjoy fishing, swimming, or just relax. Enjoy your morning coffee on the covered porch or sit by an evening campfire. Located only 10 minutes from Historic Greenup where there is the award winning Cameo Vineyards, also the picturesque covered bridge. 20 minutes to Effingham where Lake Sara is located and 20 minutes to Casey, home of the “Worlds Biggest”. Close to canoeing on the Embarras River. The house on property for groups that need more room. Extra charge Of 150$ per night whe you use both the shouse and house. It has 1 bedroom with a king and trundle bed. Also another room with a full bed and a sofa sleeper. In the living room. Washer and dryer available too.

Our stay worked out very well. Very clean, Excellent location for us to go visit local family not far away. Will check on this place if we happen to be needing a place to stay in the future.

perfect place for the eclipse

This was truly a little gem in the country. The pond had big fish, the place was very clean. They are still working on a few things but it did not matter. Wonderful stay

One of the BEST!!

This property has it all! Location, beautiful, country, quiet, fishing, walks, and comfort. The host provided more perks than I've ever seen with complimentary wine and chocolate, plush towels, comfortable beds and sitting.

Quiet and relaxing

This property is just what my family and I needed. We got to sit down and visit on the covered porch, and our boys enjoyed the fishing in the pond. It was very clean and had everything we needed. The host even offered us fire wood for a fire, if needed. Thank you for letting us stay on your property :)

Perfect Getaway

We found everything easy to access with the instructions we were given. The hosts took great care in making sure we were welcome. And the property was EXACTLY what we needed for a getaway. The landscaping, the pond, the serenity. Everything was just perfect. Can't wait to stay again soon!

Serene, secluded, piece of paradise

I can't say enough about this property and the host. The landscaping was lovely. The little touches of complementary items made us feel at home and welcomed. The décor was beautiful. We would have loved to stay in the shouse, but needed the use of a washer/dryer so we stayed in the house. Pam did let us view the inside of the shouse, and it was so awesome! This was a last minute stay for us as we had an unexpected situation that we needed a place for a few days in the area. Pam was very accommodating and even worked with us to extend our stay by a day. I would love to come back again and go explore the nearby area.
