Family Mountain Getaway

Cozy cabin in the mountains with woods all around you that can explore. Relaxing nights by the fire pit. Lots of activities close by for all ages. Just a short drive to restaurants groceries etc. We had a wonderful time!

Great times

Had the best time! Home was great for our large family, the roads getting to the home is a little nerve wracking your first time arriving ( recommend arriving during the day) but it makes for a fantastic walk . Beds were comfortable, and rooms had fans which was a huge plus for us. Would recommend staying !

I was there once before and nothing changed. Old dingy towels .No smart TV. I just feel like there should have been smart tvs in cabin. Please update with some new towels or have guest bring their own.

Great weekend get away

Everything was clean. The property manager was very responsive and communicative. There was some damage done to the property by previous tenants, but the manager let me know so we could plan accordingly. Very pleasant stay overall, would stay there again.

We had a golf weekend and the cabin was a great place to stay and to relax at the end of playing 27 holes of golf.

Perfect Weekend Getaway

This property was everything I envisioned for our family weekend getaway in the North Georgia mountains. The cabin is tucked in the woods and gives a sense of privacy, but is not difficult to reach or far from town. There was great space for our family and my kids loved the bunk room. The best part was how responsive our hosts were. Anything we needed, they were quick to respond and accommodate. I highly recommend this cabin!

A perfect place to stay while we hung out with other family members staying at a neighboring property. We felt perfectly safe in area and enjoyed Dillard,Clayton and Darnell Falls.

Beautiful location in a well maintained cabin

Lovely property in a fabulous location. Quiet, private and inviting. So much to do within a reasonable driving radius. Very clean and sufficiently equipped. Hosts communicate great. Would happily book again. Extra observations: downstairs bedrooms do not heat like the upstairs. They were very cold. There is a safety gate on the stairs. Tubs are designed to not seal for baths, which was slightly inconvenient with small children. Washer and dryer are full size and work well. Sunset out the back is fabulous.

Rabun Gap getaway

Friends gathered for fun and relaxation. Lots of room, it could use another bathroom (FOUR WOMEN, need i say more). Some did the Moonrise distillery tour which they enjoyed. We ate at Blu Canoe and the Universal Joint, both fantastic! The place is quiet, secluded, nicely furnished and homey

We bought our home to be close to my Dad who lived in Scaly Mountain, NC for 20+ years. My wife and I have been entertaining friends and family at our home now for nearly nine years. We always look forward to staying here. The best times have been in the Fall (When the leaves change color), Thanksgiving, Christmas and the 4th of July. We hope you find it as inviting as we do.

There is so much to do. From my home, you are close to some of the most beautiful scenery we have ever seen. You'll never get bored. Plus, there is so much to do and many great stores and restaurants just minutes away. Our home is close to hiking trails, waterfalls, lakes and legendary sightseeing adventures such as the drive through the Smokeys, the Blue Ridge Parkway and the 250 room French Chateau Biltmore House located in Asheville, NC the 'Paris of the South'. You won't have enough time to see everything, so make plans to come back over and over again.
