Take it easy at this unique and tranquil little getaway. Cook in the galley kitchen and enjoy a cup of coffee overlooking Douglas Lake. During the summer the lake is at full capacity and there is a pond directly behind the house that does get some fish seasonally when the water is high. The nearest marina is about a 2-minute drive. This house has a lake view, not direct access.

Only 20 minutes from Sevierville, and 35 minutes to Pigeon Forge and Dollywood. Enjoy the smokey mountains or the hustle and bustle of the tourist attractions, then return to your retreat.

The kitchen is extremely well stocked with pots and pans, utensils , coffee and tea, as well as oils and seasoning for cooking. There's nothing worse than having to go to the store to buy the basics that you're going to leave behind.

The beds we have been told are extremely comfortable.

We wanted to make this house something we would be happy to stay in. We are constantly disappointed Wednesday at other airbnbs and many of these things are not available.
