Great location and host

We had activities planned in both Los Angeles and Anaheim. This home is in a great location to get to both. The neighborhood is nice and quiet while being close to many stores and restaurants. The host was extremely quick to respond to our needs and very helpful. We were very comfortable in the home for our family of 6. We really appreciated the plenty of parking space. We would definitely stay again when sightseeing in Southern California!

Perfect!

I loved how clean he house was and parking was a breeze (it has a garage)! The host was super nice and attentive. I will definitely use this house again (if available) on my next visit to California.

Perfect for us

We were looking for something in the Downey/Whittier area. The location is very convenient. House was in great shape. Has two parking spots inside and there is street parking. We stayed here for 8 days, and have zero complaints.

Comfortable and Clean

This was a last minute booking due to flooding where we were supposed to stay. Mark was responsive and a fabulous host. The beds were comfortable and the house had everything we needed.

The house makes you feel like home. Everything was clean and neat. The surrounding of the house was safe and Mark thank you for hosting us and communicating with us. It was a wonderful experience.

Amazing Stay and Good Communication

During the time here, We loved the stay and appreciated having all amenities available to us. The host is very communicative and makes us feel truly comfortable and cared for. The surrounding area is nice with grocery stores and restaurants near by. The only complaint we had were how clean the floors were. We took over our shoes at the front door but all of our socks and feet were dirty from walking around. Overall, the stay here was a very good experience and would definitely recommend anyone considering this place to come stay.

The positives: The owner was communicative and quick to respond. The kitchen sink and appliances were modern. The bedrooms had ceiling fans. The neighborhood was quiet and appeared safe. The negatives: The property was one of three small homes on one lot, with no grass and weird cotton pieces everywhere. It was not inviting to drive up to, and while it was clean inside, it was decorated with very cheap furniture, with all black decor for some reason, and did not feel like a home (or even a hotel). Although it was advertised that there were portable AC units, they were not yet set up, even though it was about 80 degrees in the house. One of the beds collapsed while my son slept (again, very cheap furniture). The owner apologized and offered to come fix the bed (which did not make sense since it was morning and we were packing up to leave) and ultimately offered a small partial refund, which was appreciated. I think the owner is a good guy, trying to do right by the guests, but probably needs help with making the home more inviting and comfortable. Grass, nicer furniture and towels, more color, and AC units would be a good start.
