Stella's Garden Estate boasts 60-acres of lush rolling hills, bordered by the Hudson River. This restored 1900s farmhouse is tranquil and secluded and has 3 unique properties to sleep approximately 27 guests- The Main House, The Guest House, and The Loft. We’re easily accessible via I-85 and conveniently located 55 minutes north of Atlanta, and only 25 minutes from Athens.

While we welcome large groups, events, and special occasions, if more than 25 people will be visiting the estate, additional approval and an event fee is required.

Stella’s Garden Estate maintains its Victorian charm amidst a timeless backdrop of greenery.

From the gated stone entrance, travel up the crape myrtle lined drive to The Main House. With a gourmet chef's kitchen, two large dining areas, a large living room and four quaint bedrooms, The Main House is a great location for your special occasion or family dinner. Relax and enjoy the large outdoor pool and have a cookout under the huge adjoining cabana complete with a stone fireplace, all sitting next to the house for your enjoyment. Attached to the main house is The Loft that sleeps up to 12 comfortably.

The nearby Guest House features a lounge area, two private bedrooms/baths, stone fireplace, and circular staircase leading to an upper loft - perfect for additional guests or a bridal party. All this, overlooking nearly 60 acres of rolling pastured hills along almost a mile of footage on the tranquil Hudson River. Newly renovated and perfectly tucked away, this country home awaits you.

Additional Details:
The main house has 2.5 bathrooms. One bathrooms has a shower and one bathroom has a clawfoot tub.
The guest house has 2 main level bedrooms with an attached private bathroom & shower for each room.
The Loft has 2 bathrooms that are accessible downstairs and outside (cabana bathrooms). The Loft is best suited for children or young adults.
The Guest House has a spiral staircase that leads to two beds and this is most likely not suited for elderly adults.

Host was great at answering all our questions and helped make sure we had what we needed for our wedding. The ac systems did require a key to get into which we had trouble finding but luckily the host was able to help us find it.

From the moment we drove through gate we felt peace. We hosted the Grooms bridal party and family for a wedding for my son at Grant Hills Farms. The pool area was a beautiful backdrop to the rehearsal dinner we hosted Saturday evening. The home was so comfortable and full of charm. We literally have everything we needed even down to a meet thermometer! Stella’s Garden Estate made our weekend so special and full of beautiful memories.

Team Bonding Event

Our high school players had a great time on their overnight stay at the estate. Plenty of room for the entire team and coaches to hang out and sleep. The pool area was a nice bonus for the girls. While we had some challenges getting into the house when checking in, the owners were available immediately to resolve. Thanks for a memorable weekend from our Roswell High School Girls Lacrosse team!

Family Wedding

I came across Stella’s Garden Estate when looking for a property to accommodate a large family gathering for a wedding. Had I known about this property before my daughter had booked another venue for her wedding this would have been the perfect place to have the wedding. The family was in awe of the property. The accommodations were great.

A Memorable Women’s Retreat Amidst Nature’s Fury

We rented this beautiful property for our annual women’s retreat, coinciding with a hurricane hitting Georgia. We chose not to cancel, and the check-in process was seamless, with the property matching its online photos. With three buildings, it perfectly suited our needs, allowing for both group activities and private moments. The surroundings were stunning, featuring lush green grass and grazing horses, creating a serene atmosphere for reflection and bonding. The owner was very responsive, addressing our questions promptly. However, we encountered a few challenges. While the common areas were very clean, we noticed cobwebs on the porch snd bunkhouse in visible areas and dust under the beds. Two guests had problems with several bugs on the ceiling. Plug-in air fresheners triggered allergies for some, and the scented detergent on the linens caused allergy issues for a few others. The handicapped ramp was uneven, making it difficult for our two ladies in wheelchairs. Additionally, we faced unexpected visits from male maintenance workers, which was a bit unsettling for our ladies. Despite these hiccups, the property deserves a 4.5 to 5-star rating. Several women from our group are interested in renting it for family reunions. Overall, it was a wonderful experience, and with very minor improvements, this property could be an ideal retreat location for anyone seeking to lodge a large group. We would certainly return to this property.

Beautiful house in a peaceful and relaxing area

It was fantastic - felt like we were away from the rush of the city but everything we needed was within 15 minutes. I highly recommend for anyone looking for a relaxing spot for a weekend getaway with a large group.

Great place for a family reunion

Our family with 9 adults and 10 children had a wonderful time here. Three buildings gave us lots of space. The pool was large and sparkling clean and we spent hours enjoying it. Beautiful lawn and porches. Lots of privacy. Lovely place. Two large ovens and two dishwashers. Ice machine was nice to have.

UGA Graduation

Stella’s Estate was a wonderful place to stay as we spent time with family and friends hosting our daughter’s UGA graduation weekend. All of the accommodations were perfect for our group. Everyone was so complimentary of the home, the grounds, and the pool. It was the perfect location for our group- close enough to Athens to get there easily and far enough away to avoid the crowds!

A breath of fresh air

It was a very good place for our 10 grandchildren to run and romp and play outdoors. Our beds were comfortable. The kitchen and dining area was spacious and great for gathering the whole group. Our time making s’mores at the outdoor fireplace was so much fun! We will definitely consider visiting here again.

Large space for a lovely gathering

Our family and friends enjoyed our week during the Thanksgiving holiday at this home. It was convenient having separate spaces for each of the three generations to enjoy, with the kids in the above garage room, the grandparents at the guest house, and the adults in the main house. Kitchen was great with lots of serving ware. One note: WiFi was not good, nor was cell reception, which was a challenge for getting some virtual work done. Overall, would stay here again and enjoyed the property a lot!
