Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

Great Location

The condo is conveniently located on the 10th floor where the rooftop pool is. Our crew loved that. Laketown Wharf has everything you need within walking distance and is located a close driving distance to other restaurants and stores. We couldn’t get into the condo at first with the code that was sent, but after calling Vacasa, they were quick to give us a new code and very helpful. After that, we had a great stay. This condo is spacious with a big balcony. It was clean and confortable.

Condo and Location were great. The facilities around the condo are the issue.

We loved the condo, it was very spacious, the beds were comfortable and anything you needed was within walking distance of the facility including the beach. The real issue is the elevators and the cleanliness of hallways, elevators, and stairwells(condo was very clean). We probably spent 2-3 hours of our vacation waiting on elevators, they really need to work on the software that drives the elevators. Some areas of public access areas were so dirty we didn't even want to walk through them and chose to back track an choose a different path. Overall I would recommend the condo and location, but the facility I'd have a hard to recommending. Vacasa was good to book through, but their check-in instructions need to be a little more clear. In particular on where to go when entering the lobby to pick up your parking passes. Bypass the large check-in desk and go to the really small office to the left. Make sure to have all your vehicle information or send it prior to arriving onsite.

Would consider staying again

There was enough space for 6 adults and 2 small (3 & 7) kids. The place was clean upon arrival and it had a few things like soap, shampoo, etc. to get you through the first day, maybe second. A couple of things had scratches or were broken but it didn’t affect our stay. There are obvious stains on the walls throughout the entire place. The lint filter in the dryer does not go all the way down and it did rip one of our shirts a bit. Not many pans or spoons to cook with but wasn’t really a problem for us. Other than the things mentioned, everything else was fine about the home and we enjoyed our stay. In general the elevators of Laketown Wharf are a little annoying since it would skip a floor but that has nothing to do with the home itself.

It was okay. Won’t do it again.

The complex is crowded and getting an elevator was painful. The staff onsite were not very friendly. Twice we went to the rooftop pool around 10 am only to be kicked out around 1030 and told to go to another pool but one of them was closed also. The room seemed clean. One of the beds wasn’t made and the sheets left behind didn’t fit so we had to go buy some. When making up that bed we found a thong under it. The sofa bed was broken and unusable so we had to buy an air mattress. The master bedroom bed was messed up. No foundation, just two mattresses on a cheap frame so the mattress kept sinking through it and we slept in a head-down angle for 5 nights. Vacasa did their scripted concern but nothing was done about it. Spent a lot to stay 5 nights and we had to spend more to even make it liveable for all of us. I won’t stay in a big complex again and definitely won’t use vacasa. They are just a go between for owners and don’t really take care of any issues. Their standard answer is “we will contact the local staff” but nothing happened. Very disappointing to spend that much money and fixable issues not be taken care of.
