Casa de la Paloma - Peaceful Golf Course Luxury Retreat

Look no further for a cozy, well appointed, luxurious, peaceful, taste of the southwest. A lot of love went into turning this condo into a special place in Ventana Canyon to relax and enjoy all of the beauty and adventure that Tucson has to offer. This condo has amazing light that cascades in through huge windows in the morning. The balcony backs onto a nature area that houses all kinds of fun animals to watch early in the morning and around sunset. Just beyond that nature area is the Ventana Canyon Golf Course, making it so peaceful to sit out back and enjoy the views and peace.

The condo is appointed with all you need in the kitchen to make delicious meals if you'd like. The living room is cozy and the dining area is big enough to easily fit six people around the table. We equipped the condo with all of the things we'd want because we often come back to visit family, so this is like a second home for us.

Just down the hill from the condo is a pool with a hot tub/jacuzzi and a gym. Nearby the complex you'll find a few amazing golf courses to include Ventana Canyon Golf Course down the road about one mile. Sabino Canyon, one of the most beautiful parks in the area, is about a five minute drive from the condo. There you can take a trolley up to the top of the canyon or you can hike numerous trails and enjoy beautiful views of the canyon and downtown Tucson.

Some of our favorite local restaurants are just down the road, so close you could walk. And there are more great restaurants in the area than we could count, which totally makes sense considering Tucson has been recognized by UNESCO as a City of Gastronomy.

This property is a great place to come home to every day after a day out adventuring and enjoying all the amazing activities and food that Tucson has to offer. Thank you for taking the time to review our property and we hope you come visit us soon!

Additional Note: We have security cameras directed at the front and back doors, but they do not look into anything inside of the condo.

Any packages received at the condo must be approved by owner to coordinate delivery. If not coordinated, there is a $100 fee to arrange receipt.
Air conditioning is not to be set lower than 69 degrees. The owners reserve the right to change the temp remotely if this occurs.
Windows and doors must be closed if air conditioning or heat is on. Violations of this rule will result in a $25/day extra charge.

Great place with great amenities

Updated property with lots of amenities like toiletries, kitchen essentials, and plenty of towels and bedding. Great responsiveness from the owners as well. Will stay here again!

Quick Winter Getaway

Short winter getaway to Tucson. Was just as expected. Perfect weather! Lots of hiking and outdoor adventure. The condo was fantastic. Hosts were very quick to respond to any questions or concerns!

Great location and fantastic property

This property checked all the boxes for me and my travelling companions. We were 2 couples who travelled to Tucson for 2 weeks to hike and immerse ourselves into the community. This VRBO was perfect. Elli and Mark were very quick with responses and ensured that lines of communication remained open. The property was very well stocked for our needs and extremely clean. The neighborhood is friendly and, with 3 pool options, we always had a place to relax. Amenities were all close by and hiking trails surrounded the area. Only about 25 minutes to get downtown so, not that far. Cannot say enough about my interactions with the property owners and the property itself. Highly recommend and would book here again.

Awesome stay!

The owner let us check in early and was so personable! The condo was very well stocked and the guidebook was great. The recliners in the living room were a big plus. I’d highly recommend this property.

Perfect location and great space!

This place was the best VRBO that I have ever stayed in. The thoughtfulness that the hosts put into our stay was much appreciated. The quality of the furniture, linens, and everything in the kitchen far exceeded our expectations! The outdoor patio was nice to have. The proximity to Sabino Canyon was perfect for our trip. The extra touches like the bottle of wine made my mom's day. We never had to drive more than a half mile for food, groceries, gelato, or even to get a pedicure! The only downside, which the hosts cannot control, is the soundproofing from the 2nd floor. We could hear the neighbors upstairs walking around, and you can hear the toilet flushing from the master bedroom. Even with that, this place was very relaxing and perfect for our time in Tucson.

Very nice and well equipped

Overall, this condo had everything we needed and was clean and comfortable. The location is nice and being a ground level condo one could hear some sound from the unit above but wasn't that noticeable. We'd stay here again.

Wonderful Stay and Accommodations!

This was the perfect place for our family to stay: a beautiful unit conveniently located near our Tucson family; very well appointed with everything from a first aid kit to electronic charging devices in almost every room (as well as the recliner sofas!); plenty of kitchenware and appliances for just about anything one could want; and great hosts who were available to take care of any concerns or answer questions! The four of us came from different states and all are looking forward to returning for another stay the next time we’re in Tucson.

This neighborhood in the Tucson Foothills is our favorite part of Tucson. The views from everywhere are spectacular, you're so close to the mountains, there are so many great restaurants, and there are so many outdoor activities you can do within 5-10 minutes of the property. Every time we're there, we get around to all kinds of parts of Tucson and we always talk about how grateful we are that we get to be located in the area we're in. You can't beat it!

This particular property really stands out because of its seclusion. The balcony backs up to a nature area with no path behind it, so people aren't walking by - just animals. It's so beautiful in the back and there are so many birds and animals that hang out back there. When we moved in, we didn't realize how amazing it is, but over time we've come to realize the gem that this specific property is.
