Located on 5 acres less than a mile from the absolute center of Door County, our dog friendly home with a fenced yard is perfect for those who want peace and quiet without having to sacrifice all the spectacular restaurants, wineries, beaches, trails and beloved tourist spots our area has to offer. We have two master bedroom suites with king sized beds and en-suite baths in each room. There is a separate entry for the second bedroom from the front porch. Relax in the sunroom enjoying epic sunsets!! The perfect escape for everyone. Our house is less than 10 minutes from both Egg Harbor on Green Bay to the west and Baileys Harbor on Lake Michigan to the east. Kayak rentals and tours, as well as grocery stores, are also less than 10 minutes away.

ARE YOU ON VACATION? Enjoy the outdoors in and around Door County all day, then come back to enjoy all the comfortable amenities, including fire pit, gas grill, board games, smart TVs, air conditioning, and a fully equipped kitchen for preparing meals. A dishwasher and washer and dryer make life on vacation a little easier.

DO YOU LOVE TO BE ACTIVE OUTDOORS? Door County has more miles of shoreline than any other county in America. There are dozens of beaches and five of Wisconsin’s expansive and beautifully maintained state parks where you can swim, hike, bike, fish, or participate in a variety of water sports and other fun outdoor activities. The roads throughout Door County are great for bicycle rides. If your stay coincides with cherry picking (mid-July) or apple picking (fall), you will be in for a treat! Golf is less than 10 minutes away either at Maxwelton Braes in Baileys Harbor or at The Orchards in Egg Harbor. . In the winter months the possibilities are many: Snowshoeing, cross country skiing, snowmobiling, ice fishing and fat tire biking.

DO YOU LOVE DOGS? We do too! We are pet friendly and welcome two well-behaved dogs for a small pet fee. The fenced in yard and nearby hiking trails (including one that loops around our 5 acre lot) ensure that your pup will get plenty of exercise and fresh air!

Cold weather, warm home

We needed a quiet getaway for Thanksgiving and wanted to spend it with our dogs. This little home in the country was perfect. Comfortable, lovely, well equipped, and a great fenced yard for the dogs. We WOULD have done some walking around the 5 acres, but the weather turned unexpectedly bitter cold. We snuggled inside and will hope to return in warmer weather. :-)

Great fall getaway

The property was everything described. The fenced in yard was great for our dog. The house is very well appointed and had many small things included that you would not expect to find at a vacation rental. It is centrally located so most places are 15-20 minutes away. Would definitely stay again. The only regret was we were so busy sightseeing that we did not have much time to stay home and enjoy the house and peaceful setting.

Relaxing stay in Door County

My husband and two dogs truly enjoyed our stay! The house was beautiful, location perfect and our dogs loved the fenced yard. We're already planning to come back next year.

You and your dogs will love this!

What a great stay. Bob (the Landlord) was very responsive to our inquiries and did a great job of helping us enjoy our stay. The house has some great finishes (higher end appliances, fixtures, etc.), and it is clear that he has put a lot of effort in making this a comfortable home. The fenced in yard was so helpful when enjoying the fire pit at night worry-free that we would not lose track of our 2 Bernese Mountain Dogs. He even provided bags to help us keep the yard picked up. There is a wonderfully large lot as part of this property, so if you have a very active pet, you will have ample room to let them burn off some steam. It would also be great to play frisbee, fly kites, etc. Really a great property. The bed was very comfortable. Some small notes. If you are a "sleeper-inner" like us, the house has a lot of windows--and great natural light--but morning comes early, so you might want to bring a sleep mask. Also, there are several electronic lights in the main part of the house (microwave clock, coffee pot clock, routers, a printer, etc.), so we had to cover a lot of them at night to get the house as dark as we would like. All the same, we tend to revisit the homes we like the best, and this one definitely makes the list!

Gorgeous & fun!

We absolutely loved our stay! What a beautiful home & grounds. Very private, but still only a short drive to the nearby towns. Our doggie loved the fenced in yard and the porch was amazing to open up the windows & watch the sunset. Can’t wait to come back!

Perfection!

A perfect stay for a couples getaway! Quiet, secluded, and on a beautiful property - we loved every minute of our stay, our two dogs included. The house had everything we could have possibly needed. It was incredibly clean and cozy. An ideal location for those that want to be close to the hustle and bustle (a 7 minute drive to downtown Egg Harbor) but also enjoy the peace and quiet of nature.

Perfect cottage

This property is the best we have ever stayed at! It’s beautifully appointed and the owners have thought of everything. The kitchen had everything we needed. The living area was comfortable and the gas fireplace/stove made it so cozy on the cool fall nights. The views from every window were breathtaking! We will be back.

Wonderful Cottage in the Woods

The Cottage is just a few years old and this being our 2nd year in a row. The place is better than new. The owner is putting money back in and made more improvements to a place that was already top notch. Best place for a stay with the dogs.

Perfect Getaway for Two!

Pine Side Cottage was a fantastic place to stay. Very clean and stylish home with everything you need. In a great location, right near the other towns with many places to shop and eat. Best sunset views every night. The hosts are amazing and we would definitely stay here again!

Fantastic, relaxing & beautiful

This is definitely one of the finest properties we have rented. The location is perfect for those who want to escape the hustle and bustle of town. Kitchen is well equipped and clean. The sunroom was our favorite place to hangout and unwind. There is a place for a campfire where you can relax while sipping cherry wine.

Pine Side Heaven

Pine Side cottage was a little piece of heaven on earth for us. It was a perfect getaway. It's centrally located so all the villages were just a short drive. Most VRBO rentals require you to bring your own linens and cleaning supplies. Not here. Everything was provided. We can't say enough good about it. We no longer need to search for Door County accomodations. When we return we'll definitely stay here again.

Just Perfect!!

Perfect place for a couple!

My husband and I stayed here for our honeymoon and it was PERFECT! Beautiful location with privacy. We loved eating meals on the three-season porch and watching the sunset through the pines. The best-stocked kitchen I've ever seen at a Vrbo - it had EVERYTHING! The bed is super comfy and the bathroom is luxurious. Also, the host was quick to respond to questions. I highly recommend!

DOOR COUNTY STAY

Home was beautiful and clean. Loved the sun/ season room. The only flaw I can suggest is maybe having a T.V. in the bedroom. We had our daughter with us. Nice to have if you want to sit and relax after coming back from site seeing / shopping. All and all a wonderful time. Thank you

Amazing property

This VRBO is a real delight! They have everything and everything is in incredible condition. Really thoughtful design and amenities. The grounds are also very serene and beautiful. Wonderful trip with our dog!

Spectacular property in a great location!

PineSide Cottage is phenomenal! The property is located easily within a 20-minute drive of most of the towns and activities in Door County (it's slightly longer to the north side if you want to catch the ferry to Washington Island). It is easily accessible by one of the main roads but nestled in a wooded area so you get the true outdoors feel. The cottage is also impeccably clean and has everything you need. Plenty of kitchen supplies, bedding, towels, etc. The check-in/out process was extremely easy and Jean was very easy to get a hold of (though we didn't need to since there was a binder of info with everything we needed to know). We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it!

Beautiful Cottage

My family enjoyed our stay. The cottage is located on a scenic 5 acre lot, well stocked with anything needed, clean, newer furnishings and a short drive to nice door county towns. We will definitely be staying again in the future.
