Checkout this unique, spacious and loft-like basement apartment . Fluttered with sunlight thanks to its large windows . Fully Equipped and furnished with a microwave , refrigerator as well powder bathroom( no shower ) . It’s only a 30 mins bus ride directly to Time Square with breathtaking view of the entire Manhattan skyline . The Closest transit is less than a 5 mins walk from the apartment with buses running just about every 5 to 10 mins into Manhattan during the day . Guest also get Access to a free washer and dryer as well other amenities and other shared common spaces like kitchen, family room, full bathroom , a dedicated workspace and a backyard .

Perfect spot for an overnight visit

I was leaving on an international flight out of Newark on Sunday, so I decided to fly in a little sooner and spend Saturday in NYC to take in dinner and a show. This place was the perfect spot. There's a bus line within walking distance that takes you directly into the Grand Central terminal at 42nd St. Takes about 30 min and only costs 4. The space was cozy and I felt completely safe. Would definitely recommend for a quick visit.

Great host and beautiful home

My girlfriend and I were very happy with our stay here. Valentine was very helpful and easy to get in touch with if we had any questions or needed anything. The basement was extremely cozy, comfortable, clean, and had everything we needed for our getaway. We were very happy with the accommodations and also very happy with the location. Pharmacies, restaurants, and convenience stores were all within walking distance. Would definitely recommend!

Quick Stay Accross the River

The property was very accessible by bus and near Loya of restaurants walking distance. It was a quick commute between NJ and NYC by bus. The place was just a little bit dusty but everything else was great.

As good as expected.

As expected, nice and clean, very spacious. close to bus stops and eateries. Valentine is very friendly, responsive and will do whatever you ask of him. Happy with our stay.

Nice and clean. Served our purpose of somewhere to sleep while we visited New York for a couple days. The bed was comfortable. We were in the basement room so there was a little bit of noise above us but no more than would be expected. A little store across the street for snacks. Nice big tv to relax and watch while we were winding down to go to sleep. Overall a good experience

Too notch

I have to say, the posting was right in on when it said “not your average basement”. Clean, modern and stylish. I sleep well, I worked in peace and I found some great Colombian food in waking distance. I also found great conversation with Valentine himself. I don’t know what’s the criteria for a “Super-Host” but Valentine definitely has my nomination. I’d be happy to return.

Schöne Lage des Apartments

Die Wohnung war sauber und schön. Etwas störend, war der Lüfter, der oft zu ungünstigen Zeiten anging und laut war. Eine Dusche unten im Bad wäre perfekt gewesen. Ansonsten kann ich das Zimmer unten im Keller nur empfehlen. Auch Rübe sehr schöne Umgebung und fußläufig ist alles da, was man braucht. Ein wunderschöner Park ist auch gleich in der Nähe

Séjour à Bergen

Appart spacieux que nous louions dans la maison. C'est une maison partagée avec plusieurs colocataires. La situation de l'appart est éloigné de New-York nécessité de prendre un bus pour se déplacer et rejoindre NY par contre proximité des ferries . Bergen est très calme c'est un peu la campagne c'est le New Jersey. Valentine est très disponible et prêt à rendre service.
