This beautiful unit B is tucked into the heart of Oak Cliff (75211). Conveniently located near I30 and downtown, the unit is two miles from the Bishop Arts District. Two bedrooms- one upstairs and one downstairs- a long with an oversized kitchen and living room. This , one of three units on property, is spacious and cozy and has everything you need for a comfortable, long term stay.

Every single room except the “entertainment” room had only ONE light bulb working out of the whole upstairs floor. The “entertainment” room had an off-putting smell that hit you right as you walk in. the pictures are not what the actual place looks like at all. it’s also not the whole house you are booking, it’s a separate unit attached to the house. we went to go checkout and there was a whole stranger walking out on the side of the house where we stayed. i personally will never book this if you are looking for safety, cleanliness, and basic lightning in a home.

The overall stay was satisfactory! Location was convenient. Furnitures were extremely delicate and couple of them were broken and were not too comfy.

Property was nice the upstairs the carpets smiled a little bit. I bought some carpet fresh and put in there and it took it away. The beds were hard other than that the place was perfect.

Property looked just like the pictures, even bigger than I expected! Very beautiful room and decor. Nice quiet neighborhood. The only thing was it was a little difficult to find the building because there’s an apartment right in front of it with the same name

Our stay

There is a bad smell, I think it’s the carpet, tris small house was just like added to a brick house that is in there, by the stairs there is a door that I think that connects to the house , you can hear what people is saying on the other side , one night they were very loud , ther is just s small table and 2 chairs , To get in there you will have to go all that way back , because this is located basically behind the brick house , Everything else was fine , but they should check where the smell is comming from

This property was definitely not a high end resort. We did have to wash the sheets, towels, dishes and floors. As someone stated in a previous reviews the carpet in the second floor was a little gross i did make my kids wear their shoes on it. With all that being said it was a cheap rental and we really only need some place to sleep and eat. We got what we paid for cheap accommodations. It was exactly what I expected for what I paid. Looking for something cheap and acceptable this place will work.

My kids got an entire upper floor for themselves and I got a large room with a big bed and beautiful bathroom to myself. It was perfect! Better than any cramped hotel. The only issue was the person in the front unit kept inviting people over every night and being super loud. There is only a door between the units and I feel some better sound proofing could be done because we heard everything. Not to mention they had an obnoxiously drunk guest trying to get into our door one of the nights and it almost resulted in cops being called. Unit was amazing. Neighbors not so much.

Decent economical stay

Inexpensive stay and comfortable bed, which we appreciated for our trip spent doing things away from the place, but not a place to hang out at in comfort. Only chairs on main floor were two small wooden stools. No coffee and the carafe on the coffee pot was dirty, so we drove to Starbucks instead of enjoying it in the room. No written instructions (e.g. to let us know that the thermostat was in the small room upstairs), but the owner was responsive to our questions. Driveway is too narrow to exit car if parked close to the room, but easy enough to park near the street.

Mini Vacation

Beautiful property that looks just like the pictures and stay was better than expected! The Property owner was sooo sweet and ready to help any way she can if asked. It made our stay perfect! All in all I would definitely recommend you stay here and we will be using her for future trips.

The stay was nice enough, however there were lights that didn’t work in the hall, bathroom and kitchen. There were only a few dishes and silverware. No where to sit.

Nice peaceful and quiet. Only 1 issue, kind of a big deal but they rectified the issue. Dog hair in the beds! Upstairs smells like a dog loves there too.

Great little 2 bedroom spot

Great little stay for my friend and I. I liked that there was two separate bedrooms and bathrooms. Communication with owner was quick and easy. No issues or complaints. Would stay here again!

Cheap and not in a good way!

The owner doesn't care about what she is offering just in this for a quick buck at the cheapest expense to her. The soap was dollar store and mostly empty and the dispenser was broken. They stored gasoline in the residence with paint and other chemicals under the stairway. Unit A and Unit B can see into each others residence because they share a door and the weather strip is held open by an extension cord beacuse Unit B is an add on the Unit A which is the main residence. Unit C is a garage converted to a room. There was no hot tub which tbe description claimed on the amenities. I arrived and tried to get a hold of the owner for an hour passed my scheduled check-in. I had to go through VRBO to finally get a hold of her. And then she said well I was busy and had a very rude attitude toward the inconvenience. Even the VRBO customer service rep said when he spoke with her she seemed like a rude and obnoxious person. Honestly it was that comment from him which made me keep the reservation and not demand a refund, because the rep was understanding my inconvenience. There were no extra blankets and only a thin cover that went on the bed. All the furniture look as though she just pick up items at the goodwill or a yard sale. I will never use this property manager again. I took pictures of everything including the patched up wall which was falling apart. I will continue to use VRBO because i have always had good experiences.

Horrible experience

Was told I was going to stay in the home but the home had 3 parts to it and the part that i was supposed to be in I couldn’t stay in for some odd reason not to mention the part of the stay I did stay in was basically a shed with these 2 little beds no tvs in the rooms the shower was want connected to the bathroom I just give the place 0 stars I’d I could .
