Lakefront Delight

Yassir was very accommodating of our dates requested. The home is spacious with an extraordinary view of the lake. We had a great vacation with our children and grand children.

Beautiful lake house. Overall, we had everything we needed to enjoy our stay with our 3 year old and border collie. We were disappointed the bath tub didn’t work. Our host was responsive whenever we had a question.

Relaxing week

The property was very clean and has all the amenities needed. My kids loved the access to the lake along with the kayak. The location is close to plenty to eat as well as access to major highways. The sign of a good vacation is when you don’t want to leave.

My family had the pleasure of staying at this property on the lake while moving our daughter into Worcester. The house was so clean and spacious and the views of the lake were amazing. Loved having a cup of coffee every morning watching the boats on the lake. The master bedroom has its own bathroom and amazing view of the lake. Yassir, the owner, was a pleasure to deal with and I highly recommend this house for a nice getaway in Shrewbury/Worcester MA.

Beautiful place, very kind owner

The property was exactly as described, prettier than the pictures even. There was tons of things to help us for the week including cooking utensils, a washer dryer, and tons of other amenities. The owner was kind and very helpful. He was very welcoming and communicative.

Beautiful home in a great location

The house was exactly as described, and perfect for our needs. The owner Yassir was extremely responsive to all our questions. The home had a great location with plenty of stores and restaurants close by. We would definitely return. My only complaint would be that the kitchen pans need updating. Overall a great stay!

Yassir was super kind and helpful in answering all of my questions as I was planning this trip for my parents. They had a wonderful time in his home and sent me sooooo many incredible pix of gorgeous sunsets on the deck, overlooking the lake. Would definitely recommend this house and am a little jealous that I didn't get to join in the fun. ;)

Suggestions

It was the perfect spot for us. Close to UMass and where our daughter lives. Excellent parking and plenty of space. Would have liked a couple more bedroom pillows, dish cloths and washcloths.

Hello Sarah, thanks for the great review. You all were awesome. The extra pillows are in the walk in closet, and extra wash/dish cloths in the laundry room on the first shelf. I thought I had mentioned it during the walkthrough but apologies if I missed it.

Everything we could ask for

He was immaculate! Owner cared about his guests. Even put out fresh flowers!! Easy access to everything. Home on a lake in hot weather with teens. Could not ask for a better place.

Great location and host

Our family enjoyed our stay here! Large enough to accommodate our group which included extended family. Only inconvenience was the heater which shut off twice on its own and needed to be reset. First was before we arrived so without knowing that it was a chilly first night and then on the last night it shutoff in the middle of the night so we woke to a cold house. Yassir promptly responded with the solution once we asked him on the second day, and issue was quickly resolved. All in all, only a minor inconvenience so holding back only one star for it. That said, Yassir was a good host for us. Thanks!

Thanks for the feedback Vincent. It was great to host you and the family. Sorry for the inconvenience. Every room has a mini split AC/heat unit which is the primary source of heating, in addition to the radiator heating which tripped. The house should not have been cold if the mini splits were turned on. The heater issue does impact the hot water temporarily which is understandably a hassle in the cold weather. I’m having the unit looked at tomorrow for a fix to the intermittent issue.
