Relax with the whole family on beautiful turquoise Torch Lake. Use one of the kayaks to see the loons, swim from your own private beach, roast marshmallows on the beach, have cocktails while watching spectacular sunsets, fish from your own “drop off” (100’ out from our beach) or play board games late into the night in the screened in porch. There are beautiful perennial gardens all around the property. Great for golfing; 25+ Golf Courses within 25 miles.

We had such a wonderful stay at this lake house! The home is very spacious and had everything we could need for a peaceful lake getaway for a group trip. Susie, the property owner, was incredibly helpful and always quick to respond to any questions we had.The location is great - the house is directly on the lake and also close to the small town nearby where we could grab food and walk around. We also had access to kayaks, small beach area by the water, and fire pit. Would definitely stay here again!

Labor Day Weekend with Extended Family

Wonderful location on Torch Lake, beautiful sunsets in the evening. House and guest house had space for everyone to relax and enjoy the property. Weather was great, and the family enjoyed the lake, beach, and searching for Petoskey stones.

Property is beautiful. Owner was very quick to respond to questions. Had one issue with the guest house and they took care of it right away. Had a great time. Would highly recommend this property.

It had everything you needed, from kitchen supplies to yard toys. The house had plenty of room for all 12 of us and i loved the decor. I can't say anything bad, we loved every minute.

The property and owner of the property were great!!! Susie was very responsive. We had six adults and four children ages 6 to 14. Everyone had a phenomenal time!! Separate guest house for the kids with bunk beds worked really well. The water is beautiful. Beach is really nice for kids. Kayaks, fire pit, firewood, and grill were all included. Neighbors were great. It's peaceful. I'd recommend staying here.

Family vacation

The home was large and accommodated our family great. We wanted to be near restaurants and right on the water and the location was perfect. Susie was wonderful to work with and responded right away. We would definitely rent again! Thank you for a memorable trip!

Stay for work in Northern MI

We had to find somewhere to stay for two schools that we were doing presentations to. Susan was great to work with, and really helped us out.!

This is just a beautiful place. Very spacious indoors. Kitchen has everything you need to cook meals. Living room and porch very roomy for everyone to have their own spot. Dock is sturdy. Beach is wonderful for looking for petosky stones. Long “upnorth” driveway that is wonderful for walks out. Would love to stay again.

We ten men have been coming to Torch for about 10 years now. This was by far the best house and best host we have had in our experience. Great kitchen and dining. Great porch and deck! Incredible Hydrangas! Awesome fireplace. Great views! Terrific parking space.And the communication was off the charts.

Beautiful home nestled in the trees.

This place was Awesome. It had everything that you needed. Owners were Very Attentive and helpful. It was Great preparing food together as a family and eating at the large dinner table. With the added Guest house giving us more room, it worked out perfect as gathering for our large family. The view from the beach and outdoor patio was spectacular. We had the greatest time together playing LCR and euchre and Family Feud. Thank you for the use of your Beautiful home. We would highly recommend this rental.

I am not sure why Dan left a three star review without any comments. I did not give him a bad review even though his group broke several listing rules about not having multiple large dogs and leaving poop in the yard; someone also broke an outlet cover on the kitchen island where he held it together with a band aid which he neglected to tell us about before the next renter. His party also spilled something that left stains on the DR rug and broke the controller for the thermostat in the guesthouse. In addition he got a very reduced rate because there was a glitch in updating the rental rate before he booked it. I bend over backwards to do right by my guests. Moreover, I did not give him a bad rating because of how the VRBO algorithm works for hosts that rent for less than 5x per year.
