- Gatherings and events that exceed the maximum occupancy of the vacation home rental are prohibited
- Parking Spaces: 4
- Renters will be issued parking placards that they and their guests must display on their vehicles' driver’s side dashboard. Renters and their guests will be required to park only in designated parking areas, and failure to park in designated parking areas and/or display the parking placards may result in a citation and a fine of $500.
- Quiet hours are designated between 9:00 pm and 8:00 am and will be strictly enforced.

Lilac Lodge at Skyland is the perfect home for a vacation in any season, with a location that can’t be beaten! With walking access to Skyland Community Beach and just a short drive from Heavenly Gondola, this home has an impeccable setup for your next luxury retreat. This well-appointed 5,200 square-foot estate has 5 bedrooms and 6.5 baths for catering to 10 guests and is located in the Skyland lakefront community on the shores of Lake Tahoe.

The great room features a beautiful double-sided wood-burning stone fireplace that you can cozy up to on frosty winter evenings while admiring the gorgeous views of Lake Tahoe through the large picture windows. This property is not equipped with air conditioning. It is designed to take full advantage of the cool mountain air to regulate the home's temperature during the summer months. Open up the windows, and enjoy the breeze. The gourmet kitchen, with hardwood floors and brick walls, is the perfect gathering spot while creating your next decadent meal. The kitchen opens up to the dining room, which comfortably seats 8 and has access to the wood-burning fireplace laid in brick on this side.

Continue through the home to the upper level, where you’ll find the master suite. A plush king bed and stone fireplace await you. In the morning, you are greeted by a stunning lake view through the large windows and can step out on the private deck to take in the sun. After skiing or enjoying the beach, sink into the large jetted tub in the master ensuite. On the main level, you will cross the sky bridge and find four more guest suites. The first suite features a queen bed, a private balcony with lake views, a TV, and an ensuite bath. The second guest suites feature a queen bed, TV, private balcony, and an ensuite bath. The third guest suite features a queen bed, TV, and ensuite bath. The final guest suite with two twin beds and an ensuite bath is on the lower level.

In the evenings, relax in the 8-person hot tub while looking out over the lake or challenge your friends to a game of pool in the game room. Gather on the deck with friends and family while grilling up your next feast on the outdoor barbecue. Only a mile from Zephyr Cove Resort & Marina and with access to sandy beaches and nearby restaurants, Lilac Lodge at Skyland is a must-book for your next vacation!

Great Home, Great Location

The home was beautiful, just as depicted in photos and description. Plenty of room for our family reunion of 10, including two kids, ages 4 and 5. Comfortable, well appointed, and BIG. Plenty of room in this house. Short walk to a beach and a short drive to grocery stores, casinos in Stateline, and South Lake Tahoe. highly recommend this place for a large group.

Amazing Hidden Gem for a Tahoe Getaway

Great big house with a ton of light and room to spread out. Everyone gets their own private nook and bathroom, hot tub has amazing vistas. Private community beach is amazing. Neighborhood is quiet. Check in/check out was very easy, rental company was communicative. House has a retro, cozy family home charm, wifi worked great. Is due for a scrub down of cobwebs off of windows and corners, but understandable in a house in a wooded setting. Would definitely rent here again.

Expected better experience for the price

Let me start with the house overall is beautiful and is in an excellent location. However, for the price we paid I was dissatisfied with the following things: When we arrived, the garbage's were all full and not emptied. The dish washer was completely full and not emptied. The outside garbage and recycle was full so it was a problem when we had to take our garbage out. Some of the lamps in the main living area did not work. We were told the house came with 6 beach chairs, an umbrella, and beach equipment. The only thing we could find was 2 camping chairs. So we had to buy beach furniture to take to the beach. You would think a house .5 miles from a private beach would come with beach furniture.

Great location and house

Wonderful house and location. We were woken up very early from house construction in the area including chain saws, loud hammering, and vehicles reversing as early as 6:45 am. There is supposedly a community rule of quiet hours between 10pm and 8am but that was clearly not adhered to. Otherwise, the stay was fantastic.

Nice views. Older House but overall pretty solid spot

The views of the lake were great. The house was pretty old and could definitely use some updates. I'm 6'2" and had a hard time with most of the showers as the shower heads are so low in some of the bathrooms that it seems like they were designed for people to sit down in the shower. The only major issue we had was that the master bathroom shower was leaking into the kitchen when we tried to use the shower and Mgmt wasn't able to fix the shower during our stay which was inconvenient but not a deal breaker.

Beautiful in excellent location

My friends and I had an amazing weekend at this beautiful home. The views were beautiful, and the proximity to the lake was perfect. Only issue we had was the heat, as the home had no air conditioning (or AC access was unavailable due to the locked thermostat). Normally it would be fine to leave the windows open given the cooler air at night; however the recent fires brought a lot of smoke to the area, which made breathing the air difficult and thus closing the windows a necessity. We made several attempts to contact the property manager and left messages with their answering service to see if AC was available in the home; however we never received a call back. Otherwise we had a wonderful stay.

Enjoyed our stay but there were a couple of small things you may wanna look into: 1. There weren’t any dish towels in the kitchen 2. The fridge and freezer really need to be replaced

Beautiful view

We had a wonderful stay at Lilac Lodge. The home is very spacious and we really enjoyed the views from the deck. The home is in need of updating, but is very clean and everything worked.

Awesome property for a family vacation!

Amazing home with multiple hang out spaces (so noisy kids can have their own space!), comfortable beds, gorgeous location near heavenly, strikingly beautiful views. Master suite is wow! Would absolutely come back. Megan from opulent vacations was great and very responsive. A few issues worth mentioning: WiFi not very reliable. If you need to work/zoom meetings - you’ll need a hotspot. Bathrooms are somewhat dated - esp toilets need updating.

Thanksgiving at Lilac Lodge

We had a great time at Lilac Lodge at Skyland. The house was in fair condition and was very spacious and large enough for our group. The house is located in a great location with easy access to the private beach and just a short drive to the Casinos, grocery store, and Heavenly Ski area. The house could definitely use some upgrades to the overall aesthetic, the bedding, TVs, etc. We had a few issues during our stay with the hot water, the heat, the gas grill, and the Sonos speaker however, we brought this to Megan's attention and she was on it. She even came all the way out to bring us a new propane tank and a Sonos speaker. Thank you to Megan for saving the day! It was our first time in Lake Tahoe and we will definitely be back to the area.

Spacious home but warm

The home was nice and spacious but there is no AC so it got very warm in there during the day. There was also an issue with spiders and spider webs but the property company had someone come out and spray. Outside of those two things the house was nice.

Amazing Location!

This home is about a 10 minute drive to Heavenly Ski Resort. The view from the hot tub is insane and our group had a blast playing pool all week. We would love to come back in the summer.
