Just what we needed for the weekend

We came into town for a concert and the property was a perfect landing spot for us. Made it to and from the concert as well as other attratcions with not much traffic at all.

Although the house needs some updates it was very affordable for Bend and the location was good for our plans. The kitchen has very basic utensils. Needs cleaning under couch, couch cushions (had to search for lost earring). A toilet repair was taken care of in a timely fashion. All in all a good stay.

10/10 experience! The host made sure every aspect of my stay was comfortable and hassle-free. The neighborhood itself was a delight - peaceful, friendly, and perfectly situated to give that 'home away from home' feeling. Was impressed with the amenities provided. And great, convenient location. Easy to explore the local area without any hassle. And the cleanliness of the property was outstanding. I really enjoyed my stay.

Cute house

I liked the house it was homey, The yard had alot of weeds and we like to spend time outside as well. There was alot of smoke while we were there, so we were not able to open the windows to air out the house. The coffee pot was to small. But overall, we had a great time in bend.

Older home in an okay neighborhood. The landscaping and the yard needs work. Grass is non-existent. Just weeds and rocks. The house itself was in pretty good condition. We lifted up the cushions on the couches and it's filthy underneath there and they need to be cleaned. It's also dirty alongside and underneath the refrigerator. And these are things that are very visible. Somebody needs to do a deep clean. Both couches were pretty filthy under the cushions. It's kind of gross. The bathrooms were fine. The rooms were good. The beds were in good shape and pretty comfortable. I would give it no more than a four.

Nice stay, as expected from pictures

We stayed here for a week. The neighborhood was quiet and a 15 minute drive from downtown Bend. The house was as expected. The master bath is a bit dated but totally functional. We had to supply our own laundry detergent as the container left there was empty. The backyard was mostly weeds but the deck worked well for us so it was not a big deal (and it was really hot outside so we didn't go out to the back much). The host was very responsive to any questions we had. We were allowed to use the garage which was very clean and large enough for our van and 3 bikes with plenty of space left over, that was a nice bonus since it kept our car cooler in the hot weather. We would stay here again.

I gave this listing 3 stars due to the lack of cleanliness and up keep. The house could really use a deep clean and maintenance. Backyard and deck are a disaster. There is NO AC! Only window AC units which are working hard to keep the house cooler than 75 degrees. Hard to believe a house in the high desert doesn't have central AC or AC split. The 3 starts really comes from the communication with the host. They provided us with another fan (to move cool air around), and came in to clean the bathroom after we requested it. My guess is they wanted to keep us happy and not post a bad rating. I wouldn't rent this house again. Spend the additional 200 and upgrade to a better place.

While the home does not have central AC, it is equipped with multiple portable AC units that can maintain a comfortable temperature, even during the warmest periods of the year. The beds were very comfortable

Filthy house. Deck has very dangerous. Deck to the right had no steps or safety rail and if you fell off nobody would see you in the weeds. I stubbed my big toe on the loose board going into s!ider lifted my toenail off my toe and I hade to glue it back down and whear a shoe to the wedding.Not sure about where your trash cans were. Had to clean the grime off the stove before we could use it. I cleaned houses in my day and you are being ripped off. Having someone come in and clean carpets, a must. Furniture positioned on floors should be moved and cleaned under them. Dirt, cobwebs and spiders (killed)hornets in bar b que.
