Welcome to Sea Forever, one of the premier vacation beach houses in Corolla, Outer Banks! Guests love to rent our OBX house for family reunions, anniversaries, weddings, and other special occasions year round. We are a 3 minute walk to Whalehead Beach and a bike ride to shopping, dining, and groceries! Although this is a new listing, we are experienced owners who have rented for over 12 years. In 2023 we installed new flooring and rugs, painted the interior, hung new pictures and decor, added new outdoor furniture, and replenished our linen. We are proud to provide so many amenities that other houses do not, including lots of bikes, beach gear, pool items, kids toys, kitchen luxuries, streaming TVs, extra towels, blankets, luxury sheets, and many starter supplies. Why go the extra step? Because we care about your comfort and want you and your family to have fun.
Your day starts when we let our renters use the pool, outside grill areas, and garden during the cleaning turnover day after the previous renters leave, so you can picnic, sit by the pool, or visit the beach and not lose any precious vacation time. Not many others in OBX will do that for you. Inside, persons of all ages and abilities can use the elevator to carry groceries and move wheelchairs to access all floors. We recently increased our internet speed up to 1 gig for better streaming and are providing our own subscription to Netflix and YouTube TV, with games for PlayStation IV and Wii in the theater room.
On the 3rd floor, you will find the Great Room with expansive views, cathedral ceilings, and a buttery yellow leather sectional with two seating areas for reading and watching tv. The fireplace is available year round. The dining room seats 12 with 4 additional seats at the bar. The kitchen is stocked with good pots and pans for those family meals, two dishwashers, plenty of dishes, and so much more. This floor also has a half bath and the main King Ensuite bedroom with a chair, TV, and a large full bathroom boasting a jacuzzi tub as well as a shower. On the deck are a table and chairs for picnicking and lounging chairs with incredible views of the ocean.
The mid-level (2nd floor) is primarily bedrooms and a den for relaxing with each room having a streaming TV. There are two King Ensuite bedrooms, a Queen handicapped-accessible bedroom with a full wheelchair-accessible bathroom across the hall, a Twin Ensuite bedroom, and a washer-dryer near the elevator. The den with deck access can be used as a separate sleeping area with a pull-out Queen sofa bed with linens provided. The mid-level has two decks front and back with new rockers, tables, and chairs.
The 1st floor has a King, a Queen, and Twin bedrooms sharing a full bathroom. You will find another full laundry room, pool table and sofa, a kitchenette, and a huge TV in the recreational room. A colorful theater room has a pull-out Queen sofa bed with linens and three chairs, as well as a kids toy and book area. Each bedroom, rec room, and theater room has streaming TVs. You can access the pool and grill areas from the rec room.
The outside is made for fun and relaxing. Our heated salt-water pool is 16’ x 32’ surrounded by new loungers, tables, and chairs. There is a propane grill and griddle and picnic tables. In the shade garden is a firepit with lots of comfortable seating. Lush landscaping in front will keep you cool outside with a large grass area in back of the pool for ball games. There are plenty of bikes for all age groups in the carport as well as another dryer. It is a 3-min short walk down Dolphin Street two blocks to the beach access; check our Google Maps location because our hosting site sometimes mistakenly says we are a 3-4 min drive instead of a walk to the beach.
We have a dedicated cleaner that has been with us for 12 years and knows the house well. Cleaning an 8 BR house that is almost 5,000 sq ft especially after a large group or event takes time to do well, so frankly we usually are not able to offer early check-in. We use the entire time between renters to clean, which is more than property management companies that clean multiple houses a day can reliably do. That said, our cleaner will let renters in to use the upper floors if cleaning properly requires more time after 4 pm.
We are proud to be hands-on owners and will respond to your questions and concerns promptly before and during your stay. Before booking, you will need to use the "contact owner" option to ask questions online. We will have only 24 hours to complete a booking request. After booking we look forward to talking with you when we are given contact information.
Please note that a signed rental agreement with the owner is required before booking is final. Guests staying overnight also must be identified in the rental agreement and agree to the rental agreement and guide book, per new NC law. During high season, rentals are weekly Sunday to Sunday in 2024 but flexible off-season except holidays. As is customary with many OBX beach homes now, there are 2 outdoor cameras facing the driveway and front door. No camera is ever inside or in back of house at the pool for your privacy. This is also a strictly pet-free house due to allergies and same day turnovers limiting cleaning time for pet dander/fur. Our refund policy is firm, meaning you get a 100% refund if you cancel at least 60 days before check-in.

The Outer Banks has a character of its own, and the family-friendly Corolla area in the northern part of OBX is even more special with wide beaches, shopping areas, restaurants, water sports, and historic sites like the 1925 Whalehead Club and Historic Corolla. The wild horses just a few miles up route 12 are a huge attraction for visitors in the 4x4 beach driving area. Further south is the Wright Brothers Memorial, Jockey's Ridge, and Roanoke Island/Manteo where the ever-popular outdoor Lost Colony play shows during high season.

We have updated many features, the latest being new flooring and rugs, new outdoor furniture, and refreshed the inside with paint, decor, and specialty kitchen and kids items.
